Today we’d like to introduce you to Alex Delgado.

Hi Alex, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I always had a love for making videos ever since I discovered YouTube. I remember popping on my aunts computer and watching Smosh, PewDiePie, wasabi productions, Markiplier, all those legends. I wanted to be just like them. It all started when I got my first Nintendo 3DS. It has a camera they can use to record and take pictures. I remember I would make a little skits, pretend to be a star in a movie, or even pretend like I was in a documentary. I would even grab my toys and would make a little movies about them fast-forward to middle school. I got my first phone, it was an Alcatel one touch, but it didn’t matter because I now had access to the Internet vine was popping off during this time and little sixth grade me Would post a couple videos, but obviously they never took off because who’s gonna watch a cringey 12-year-old. I remember a teacher asked me once what I wanted to be when I grew up and I said “an Internet person”, i’ll never forget that confused face she made. After vine went away, then came musically! I didn’t like the whole lip syncing to music trends so I just stuck to my comedy skits but again nothing really took off, it didn’t really matter though, I was just having fun making videos, I always gave the energy like I had 10 million followers. Throughout my years of elementary school and middle school I would also be posting YouTube videos of me trying to do challenges and little blogs with my family. Fast-forward to high school, musical.ly, then changed into TikTok, this is where things get interesting. I started taking on a new approach when it came to making videos and that approach was to relate as much as I can to the people, I would do skits about school, Mexican culture, TV shows that I watched, popular movies that were out, you name it. I started seeing my views go out for the very first time in my life, seeing a video hit over 1000 views for the first time was such a rush, then in 2019 I finally got my first ever video to hit over 1 million views. The video was about Minecraft and how funny it is we casually steal from the villagers in the game. I remember seeing all the likes and comments flood in the feeling I felt was that same feeling when you see the Disneyland castle for the first time this gave me a huge rush so I started creating like never before. The account then grew to 350,000 followers. I had an audience, I did live streams, I even got recognized maybe once or twice in public I felt like the bell of the ball. yes 350,000 followers is impressive but it didn’t really grow much from there. Months turned into years, views just kept getting lower, I didn’t get it, I was posting the same kind of content over and over again I thought people liked me? Eventually, it was 2025 and my videos would barely struggle to hit over 1000 views. I was in college during this time, also working at an entertainment park as a supervisor. I felt like my dreams of becoming a huge content creator was coming to a close. I was also feeling burnt out from trying to come up with more relatable content. Also, during this time my girlfriend would hear me out and would get a feedback on how I felt about my dreams With content creation. She then told me “why don’t you just make a new account and start fresh“? I panicked when she said that, why would I leave this account behind? I’ve gained over 350,000 followers! But the views weren’t there and she was right I wasn’t happy with the content that I was putting out. I took a leap of faith and created a new account but this time I’m running the show, I’m posting whatever I wanted, skits, vlogs, different characters, me just being absolutely explosive in front of the camera in 6 to 10 second videos, kind of like vine. It was a new year too, and I made a promise to myself with this account, every single day of 2025 I’m going to post three videos a day, even if I don’t have any ideas for the next day, I cannot fall asleep until I do. I saw this new account that I created as a last shot. I was 23 years old, people are usually in their prime at this age when it comes to content creation. As 2025 went on, the videos were producing good numbers. Before I knew it boom, a video would go viral, but I kept posting. Another one would blow up, then another, every single video I was posting was simply just me in my crazy ideas. We fast-forward to September 2025. At this point I had about 250,000 followers. I definitely got my groove back, then came one fateful day where I posted a video simply telling people to watch out for the “brown man“ and then screaming like an angry Chihuahua at the camera, then telling the audience why would they let that happen? Thus the brown man character was born. People loved this character, I gave him a cowboy hat and wore a favorite hoodie of mine that was brown and even gave him his own theme song that plays every time he appears, people loved this character, and the numbers kept rising. I thought this would be my peak. Honestly, it wasn’t two months later I dropped what has to be the biggest video I’ve ever created. The “jack my son“ video. A cheesy dad joke about someone son being named Jack sounding like the last name. Jackson became an instant viral sensation. Creators, I watched, legends I grew up, watching, even celebrities were loving the video. I think I cried when I saw all the love it was getting, even when all of this was going on, I was still posting three videos a day. Before I knew it, I hit 1 million followers, I remember being with my friends at a Wingstop when I hit that goal, it was a very sweet moment. But when I got home that night and sat down on my bed, staring at that number, tears filled up my eyes and rolled down my cheeks. I wasn’t really the popular kid in school, I would talk to everyone to be nice because that’s why my mom always told me to do, but I wouldn’t really get the same energy back. I did have a few people that would always have my back and would actually wanna hang out with me outside of school, but I knew some people found me to be too much. I heard all my life, every single parent teacher conference in grade school would be the same thing, all my teachers would tell my parents that I was a great student, but I needed to talk less or stay put more. My imagination was always on the go, which did tend to lead to me, getting distracted a lot in school, but with that imagination of mine, it created something beautiful and something that I’ve always dreamed about since I was a kid. eventually 2 million followers was hit and I started uploading my videos to Instagram as well and hit 1 million followers on there too! It got to the point where I even started live streaming and was getting paid more than my regular 9 to 5, I eventually quit my job to go full-time. I started collaborating with other huge creators, going on trips, working with brands, getting recognized almost everywhere I go, traveling to places I thought I would have never gone to. What’s crazy is it was all done in a year and a half. Now here we are today, with a loving community who not only enjoy my content but me as a person. I see my supporters as a second family, and I’m so thankful. Just seen creators that I grew up watching giving people instant happiness and joy just by their presence or their face was something I wanted to achieve and I’ve done it. It just goes to show what hard work and consistency does for you if you truly want something, as well as knowing that, it’s always OK to restart. I still got lots of ideas and many different things I want to try, we are just getting started!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
(I just realized I just dumped my whole life story in the previous question and didn’t know that it would be divided up into more questions so I apologize but I will still answer them). No it has not been a smooth road, I didn’t really have a lot of friends growing up, thankfully a few that actually wanted to hang out with me outside of school. My mom always told me to be nice to the kids and talk to everyone no matter what but I wouldn’t really get the same energy back. I did have a couple people talking behind my back saying that I was cringe and not funny but I didn’t really let it get to me, it’s stuff that I’ve heard ever since I was a little kid from other bullies. I was an energetic little kid. A lot of people say that I have ADHD, but I’ve never been professionally diagnosed so I don’t want to be one of those self diagnosed people, I would talk a lot and would struggle to sit still, people would either get annoyed or angry with me and little me would just be sad and confused because I’m simply being me. It started affected me while making video. Sometimes, I would record scenes and would stop in between takes and kind of process what I just did and start overthinking and debate with myself. If I should even post this kind of stuff for the world to see. Thank goodness I kept going though.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Content creator! I specialize in comedy, I’m known for my quick, explosive energetic, short videos. I’m mostly proud of my originality when it comes to making videos, especially different character characters I come up with. a popular character that I created in my videos known as “the brown man”. He’s a character that’s gone viral that appears out of nowhere doing a silly little dance with his tongue out while Cumbia is playing in the background. Being known for my skin and fun things about my culture truly makes me happy. What I think sets me apart from other creators is my energy, I’m not afraid to say some wacky things that come up in my mind, I don’t drag out stuff that was viral for me in the past, I’m constantly striving for originality.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Making people happy. I’ve always been a people pleaser growing up. If I knew someone didn’t like me or just thought ill of me, my day was ruined, when I was a kid I found out this kid didn’t like me, and I literally went up to him asking him. Why, what can I do to change that then later crying. I saw making videos on the Internet was the best way to make someone happy because you never know who’s gonna see it and you really don’t know who really needs a laugh or smile.
