Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeffrey Lockett.

Hi Jeffrey, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Our band “The Hazards” formed in 2019, we were only 2 members at the time(Jack & Carlos), Then in 2020 we had Jeff and Dro join the band, Because of the COVID lockdown we couldn’t play any shows for a while so we spent the majority of our time practicing and writing songs. Once everything started opening back up we searched for where we can start playing, and we starting playing in small backyards around East LA. Since then we’ve been playing live for 5 years and have released a 4 song EP and 2 studio albums. Our latest album ‘No Turning Back’ is our most recent release with 9 songs filled with punk, grunge, and indie rock elements.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It can be a very bumpy at times. It really has a lot to do with our personal lives in general. Usually we’re able to separate them but sometimes it’s just out of our control.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We play music. Even at our day jobs people are starting to notice and care about how serious we are in being in a band. I think I can speak for all of us when I say we’re most proud that we have the privilege to do what we do and still continue to gain support.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
Over the years we’ve met a lot of cool people. Some unfortunately no longer with us. We are so lucky that we have many friends and family who support us one hundred percent.
