Inspiring Conversations with Jennifer Schaefer of eVolve by Jennifer Schaefer

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Schaefer.

Hi Jennifer, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My path into this work was never something I planned in a traditional sense. In my early twenties, I was searching for something deeper, a sense of purpose, meaning, and service. I knew I wanted my life to have impact and connection, but I never imagined I would one day work in healing, wellness, or personal transformation. I never set out thinking I would become a hypnotherapist, facilitator, or someone guiding others through emotional, spiritual and physical growth.

Truthfully, this work found me.

What began as my own journey of self discovery, healing, and understanding slowly unfolded into something much bigger. As I immersed myself in subconscious work, breathwork, epigenetics, nervous system healing, and holistic practices, more people naturally started coming to me for support. The more I continued healing myself, practicing what I shared, and working with others, the more people naturally began finding their way to me through referrals, and once I realized I could genuinely help others reconnect to themselves, it became an instant yes for me and there was never really any turning back after that.

Over the years, my work evolved organically through 1:1 sessions, retreats, ceremonies, concierge wellness programs, and supporting individuals through some of the most vulnerable and transformative periods of their lives. I have worked with people navigating addiction recovery, burnout, grief, emotional dysregulation, identity shifts, and deep personal awakenings.

At the heart of my work is the belief that people are far more powerful than they have been taught to believe. I do not see myself as someone who “heals” others. I believe each person has the ability to become their own healer. My role is to act as a guide, helping people reconnect to their intuition, awareness, joy, and alignment so they can come back home to themselves.

My approach is deeply human and intuitive. I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to be seen, supported enough to soften, and empowered enough to trust themselves again. Everything I do is rooted in connection, compassion, presence, and helping people remember who they truly are beneath the noise of the world.

At its core, this work has never been about fixing people. It is about helping them rediscover the parts of themselves they may have forgotten along the way.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part, yes. I have learned over the years to deeply listen to myself and allow my higher self and intuition to guide me rather than forcing outcomes or operating from fear. Of course there have been challenges along the way, moments of uncertainty, growth, emotional expansion, and learning how to trust myself on a deeper level, but I genuinely believe those experiences shaped both me and my work.

One of the biggest lessons for me has been understanding that when we move from a place of self trust instead of self judgment, life can shift very quickly. I often describe it as “lightning speed” change, where things begin aligning in a way that feels natural, expansive, and deeply right rather than forced.

I think the more aligned I became within myself, the more aligned my work, opportunities, and connections became as well. That has allowed the journey to feel less about struggle and more about continual evolution, trust, and staying connected to purpose.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business is actually quite surprising to me because I never would have imagined this is the path my life would take. I feel incredibly blessed to have been guided into creating work that empowers people to recognize how strong, intuitive, and capable they truly are. At its core, everything I do is about helping people reconnect to themselves and understand that healing is not something outside of them, it already exists within them.

I often explain my business like a tree. I am the trunk, rooted in the same philosophy and purpose, but over the years different branches naturally grew from that foundation.

One branch is my long-form one on one sessions, which I deeply love because they are such intimate and transformative experiences. This work allows me to truly get to know someone and help them understand the connection between their emotional, spiritual, and physical body. I believe lasting healing and alignment happen when all three are acknowledged together rather than treated separately. These sessions are highly intuitive and individualized because I do not believe healing is one size fits all. I allow a person’s body, energy, emotions, and life experiences to guide the process toward what they specifically need.

Another branch is our concierge wellness program, The Guides, which focuses on creating sustainable lifestyle change through support, structure, and holistic wellness practices. We have worked with individuals navigating addiction recovery, health diagnoses, emotional healing, burnout, and major life transitions. The goal is to help people create a healthier way of living while also giving them the guidance and accountability needed to maintain those changes in real life.

Then there is the retreat side of my work, which honestly fell into my lap over ten years ago and organically became one of the most beautiful parts of what I do. Since then, I have curated intimate retreats all over the world including places like Bali, Morocco, Mexico, and Joshua Tree. What makes these experiences unique is that while they are community based, every person still receives deeply individualized care and attention. I believe retreats should not feel performative or generalized. I curate each one differently based on the energy, culture, and essence of the location itself so every experience feels alive, intentional, and deeply connected to the environment around it.

When people ask what sets my work apart, I think it comes down to the philosophy behind it. I do not believe my role is to “fix” people or make them dependent on me. I believe my role is to help bring out the gold that already exists within them. So much of healing is learning how to transform painful experiences, emotional wounds, and shadow aspects of ourselves into wisdom, awareness, and growth. In many ways, it feels similar to the work of an alchemist, transforming heaviness into something meaningful and empowering.

What I am most proud of brand wise is that everything has been created intuitively and authentically from lived experience. Many of the tools, practices, and healing modalities I teach were born through my own journey and years of working closely with others. They were not simply pulled from a textbook or copied from someone else’s framework. My work continues to evolve organically through intuition, observation, connection, and experience.

One of the things I most want people to know about eVolve is that it is ultimately about teaching people how to reconnect to themselves. Whether through one on one sessions, retreats, workshops, or my ESP Method, which stands for Emotional, Spiritual, and Physical healing, the intention is always empowerment. I created the ESP Method because not everyone can commit to ongoing sessions, and I wanted people to have practical tools they could carry into everyday life to support themselves between deeper work.

If someone is interested in experiencing my work, I usually encourage them to begin with a one on one session because it allows the process to become completely personalized to them. I truly believe the body communicates what it needs when we learn how to listen, and my role is to help guide people back into that connection with themselves.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
One thing I’d love readers to know is that my work comes just as much from lived experience as it does from training or education. I’m a mother of two, and at 22 years old I was also blessed to help raise my niece from the age of five, which shaped such a huge part of who I became.

I’ve also lived through some very difficult chapters including emotional toxicity in relationships, sexual trauma, divorce, health struggles, and overcoming autoimmune issues. For a long time, I was simply trying to find my way back to myself.

I think that’s why I’m able to meet people where they are without judgment, because I’ve experienced darkness too and found myself on the other side of it. I’m a very open person, and I believe there’s something powerful about being honest about both the hard moments and the healing that can come from them.

More than anything, I want people to know that healing is possible, growth is possible, and sometimes the experiences that break us open are also the ones that guide us back home to ourselves.
