Today we’d like to introduce you to Melissa Nolff.
Hi Melissa, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hi, I’m Melissa Nolff, owner of SoulSpring Oasis.
Coaching, mentoring, and holding compassionate space have been in my wheelhouse for over 25 years. After graduating in my twenties with a business degree, I built a successful corporate career while raising my two boys.
Then, in 2014, life changed in an instant. My firstborn son was killed, and everything I understood about the world shattered. Grief, anxiety, depression, and PTSD took hold for a long time.
Slowly—through various forms of therapy, plus yoga, meditation, breathwork, colonics, and time spent in nature—I rebuilt a relationship with myself. These healing arts became my lifeline, my teachers, and ultimately my calling. They guided me home to my body, my spirit, and my purpose… and they led me right here.
It is with deepest gratitude and humility that I offer my services to you. At SoulSpring Oasis, we support your expansion into emotional, physical, and spiritual healing. We help your Soul Spring into exploration, restoration, and love.
We are far more than colonics.
We are a vibrant collective of practitioners and visionary partners—each bringing expertise in our respective modalities, including pelvic-floor physical therapy, massage, stretch and movement, yoga, fascial release, energy healing and other specialized therapies.
Together, we create a sanctuary where individualized care meets the power of community. A space where healing is amplified, energy is shared, and transformation is supported on every level—body, mind, and spirit.
At SoulSpring Oasis, healing isn’t just personal.
It’s collective.
May we all be nurtured. May we all be well.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the ongoing challenges of running a business is maintaining a healthy work-life balance and making self-care a priority. I naturally tend to pour so much of myself into my business and my clients that I sometimes neglect to pour back into myself. However, I’ve become much more intentional about creating balance and setting boundaries. I’m learning to take greater control of my schedule, prioritize rest, and make space for days off, which has been an important part of my personal and professional growth.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I grew up in a small, safe Midwestern town where everybody knew everybody. I had a ton of neighborhood friends, rode my bike everywhere, spent summers fishing with my grandpa and watching Tigers baseball, and was constantly around animals. I had cats, dogs, and horses, and I’ve always been an animal lover.
I was fiercely independent from a young age. Responsible, loyal, funny, a little rebellious, and definitely a risk taker. People tended to trust me with their secrets.
My grandmother was probably the most grounding person in my childhood. My grandparents lived right around the corner, and her house was my safe space. She was like my best friend, especially during times when my mom wasn’t always stable. Looking back, I think growing up with a lot of freedom, a lot of responsibility, and a lot of love shaped me into someone pretty resilient and independent.
