Today we’d like to introduce you to Ania Thomas.

Hi Ania, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I knew I wanted to play guitar, so I learned everything: writing, recording, marketing, producing, prot tools and more! I built myself into who I am now! Of course with the help of a few mentors!

No safety net, no blueprint—just instinct. I created from nothing and made it real.

They call it DIY! Or do it yourself!

That’s how I got here. I am the collision of music, fashion, art, and film. I didn’t wait for a place in the scene. I became part of it.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a smooth road! It never is! There have been plenty of obstacles, from emotional challenges as self-doubt, perfectionism, and writer’s block to technical and logistical setbacks.

There have also been creative differences with peers since not everyone sees eye to eye.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a guitarist and artist based in LA, originally from Poland. I make indie/alt rock that leans into texture, mood, and emotion.

I’m known for layering immersive sounds and a raw, honest edge. I’m mostly proud of building my sound while sharing how i truly view the world.

What sets me apart is perspective. Both blending European culture mixed with LA.

How do you define success?
Success to me means being happy with what I create, loving what I do, and being surrounded by people I care about. It’s about staying creative while maintaining a strong, healthy balance between work, life, and relationships.
