Today we’d like to introduce you to Erica Munoz.

Erica, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started my journey with lashes as a hobby back in 2016. At the time, lash extensions were quickly becoming one of the most in-demand beauty add-ons—something that elevated everyday makeup routines. My younger sister, Carla, was actually the one who introduced me to it. She told me I’d be great at it… and of course, she also wanted her lashes done.

I signed up for a class, but looking back, it didn’t give me the foundation I needed. Most of my growth came from teaching myself—learning through trial and error, studying other artists, and using every resource I could find. It wasn’t easy. There were moments where I felt overwhelmed and even considered quitting.

But something in me wouldn’t let me give up. I stayed determined, kept practicing, and trusted the process.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Has it been a smoothed ride ? Absolutely not, I wish it was. Nothing is ever so simple. Whether you’re a doctor , Esthetician, or even a stay home parent.

Working a full time job, mom, and wife. While juggling a new hobby and later becoming entrepreneur . I would say those were my struggles learning to balance family and business.

I’m a licensed esthetician and lash artist, and the founder of Lash on Dash by Erykah. I specialize in customized lash extensions and skin treatments, focusing on enhancing natural beauty with soft, tailored results.

I’m known for my attention to detail and for educating my clients , so they can maintain healthy lashes and glowing skin. But overall the love I have for my clients once they walk into my door.

What I’m most proud of is building my business from the ground up and creating a loyal clientele who trust my work. What sets me apart is the level of care and customization I bring to every service—nothing is one-size-fits-all, everything is intentional.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Consistency and dedication.

It’s what’s allowed me to grow, improve my skills, and build trust with my clients over time. Even when things felt hard or progress was slow, I stayed committed to showing up, practicing, and learning. That consistency is what turned a hobby into a business. A true definition of dedication . Without those two , my business would have never thrive.
