Today we’d like to introduce you to Eloisa.
Hi Eloisa, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always had that mindset of wanting to build something of my own. Before Elisse, I explored different ideas like opening an internet café, and at one point I even ran a home bakery. I just didn’t know yet what it would turn into.
My mom always loved accessories, and after she passed, I found myself wanting to create something that honored that part of her. At the same time, I wanted to build something meaningful with my daughter and teach her along the way.
Elisse Treasures started in a very personal way because of that. My daughter and I have always loved jewelry, especially pieces that feel meaningful and easy to wear every day. It began with us curating pieces we genuinely liked, and over time we started assembling some of our own combinations to make them feel more unique.
Over time, as I interacted more with customers, I realized people weren’t just buying jewelry, they were buying something meaningful. That’s what led us to add engraving. It’s been one of the most special parts of the brand because it turns a simple piece into something personal.
Right now, we’re in a phase where we’re still curating and assembling, we’ve added engraving, and we’re also starting to work toward developing our own heirloom designs with manufacturers.
At the core, Elisse is about creating pieces that people can wear every day but still have meaning, whether it’s a gift, a memory, or something that connects people.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been building trust, especially in a space where people sometimes assume jewelry is mass-produced or low quality. I’ve had moments where pieces are compared to things online without understanding the difference in materials and quality.
Another challenge has been balancing everything while building the business and managing family life. There was also a season where I had to step back personally, which gave me clarity on how I wanted to move forward and what I wanted the brand to represent.
Over time, I’ve had to adjust based on what customers actually connect with. Not everything works the way you expect, but those experiences have helped shape the brand into something more intentional and meaningful.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
With Elisse Treasures, I curate meaningful, everyday jewelry, assemble some pieces myself, and offer engraving, which my husband helps with, so each piece can be personalized.
I’ve found that people aren’t just buying jewelry, they’re buying something that represents a memory or a moment.
I’m most proud of building this with my daughter, with my husband helping with engraving and my son helping with packaging, and we’re now starting to work toward our own heirloom designs.
I think what sets Elisse apart is that it’s not just about the jewelry, it’s about the meaning behind it.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
Some of my favorite childhood memories are simple moments at home with family. I remember watching my mom get ready and how much she loved her accessories. The way she wore them always stood out to me, and I think that’s where my love for meaningful pieces really started.
