Majestic DME, LLC was established in 2014 by owner Charlie Duran in the small town of Lomita in southern California. Majestic DME strives for excellence and each patient is treated with the upmost care. From the initial order till the delivery of each medical equipment, Majestic DME sets the bar for excellent customer service and product knowledge.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, my gosh if I can tell you my story we’d be here for hours if not days! As with all businesses, I’m sure many can relate on the ups and downs one can have along the way of any business. The main struggles have been on how to overcome insecurities. One gets very insecure about starting a business because of all the overhead that needs to be covered, all the investments one needs to do in order to become a thriving business.

We’ve been impressed with MAJESTIC DME, LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Majestic DME, LLC is a full‑service provider of medical equipment and supplies for hospitals, medical practices, personal injury attorneys, and patients who receive doctor referrals. We specialize in durable medical equipment for injury care and post‑orthopedic surgery recovery—bracing, mobility aids, supports, rehabilitative devices, and related supplies—and we also bill health insurance directly when equipment is prescribed by a clinician.

What distinguishes us is our people and our process. My management team and I personally oversee every order from intake through patient delivery, ensuring accuracy, timely fulfillment, and compassionate service. That A–Z attention means orthopedic surgeons, pain management physicians, and legal professionals can rely on us to handle prescriptions, documentation, insurance coordination, and logistics so they can focus on patient care. We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t like to think of luck too much. Everything has been, blood sweat and tears really! Maybe somewhat of bad luck when loosing money and making bad business choices but that’s all part of the learning experience with having a business. More luck than bad luck would be the key here!
