braidME, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
braidME is a next-level pop, dark-pop, and alt-pop artist from Ukraine, already commanding a dedicated fanbase of nearly 1.5 million followers. Her work has caught the attention of acclaimed artists like Rosalía, MARINA, and many more. At just 20 years old, braidME is at the forefront of a new generation of songwriters, blending emotional honesty with a sleek, modern sound that’s instantly relatable and globally accessible. Seamlessly fusing genres, she crafts forward-thinking music designed to captivate from the very first note.
Her vocals are powerful yet precise, marked by a signature tone that resonates emotionally and lingers in the listener’s mind. braidME prioritizes sincerity, atmosphere, and emotional clarity, delivering tracks that feel authentic, immersive, and unmistakably hers.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I think one of the biggest challenges for me was believing that I’m allowed to be more than what people already knew me for.

For a long time, I was creating content, building an audience, and it was beautiful… but also a little limiting. Because when you decide to step into something deeper – like your own music – you start from zero again, even if it doesn’t look like it from the outside.

There’s always this quiet fear: what if they don’t stay? what if they don’t understand?

But I realized that staying honest with myself is more important than being understood by everyone.

So I chose to start anyway. And maybe that’s the hardest part – choosing yourself, even when it’s uncertain.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
On March 27, braidME releases her debut single “I Remember”, marking a powerful first step as an independent artist and drawing the attention of international labels to her work. The release is accompanied by a striking music video that amplifies the emotional depth of the track and frames her artistic vision with confidence and clarity. Balancing intimate vulnerability with contemporary production aesthetics, braidME crafts a delicate, atmospheric sound rooted in honesty and restraint. She allows real emotions to unfold naturally, leaving space for silence, pauses, and resonance. Positioned at the intersection of alternative pop and ambient sensibility, I Remember feels less like a conventional song and more like a shared moment — one the listener experiences alongside the artist, eyes closed, fully immersed.
I Remember is dedicated to someone you are trying to build a healthy, trusting relationship with. Despite the effort to open up and connect, there is a quiet realization that no matter how much you give, the relationship cannot be saved and is destined to end. The song captures a bittersweet mix of hope, vulnerability, and inevitable heartbreak.
This single opens a series of upcoming releases by braidME, each reflecting a deeply personal chapter of her story. The follow-up track “I Know I’m Wrong” will be released on April 17 across all streaming platforms, followed by “I’m Not Good Enough” on May 8.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I do believe luck exists… but I think it usually finds you when you’ve already been quietly working, doubting, trying, and not giving up.

From the outside, some moments may look like luck – the right person noticing you, the right video reaching people, the right opportunity appearing at the right time. But behind that, there are usually so many invisible nights, fears, and small decisions no one sees.

So for me, luck is real – but it feels more like a meeting point between timing and everything you kept doing even when no one was watching.

And I think that kind of luck is the most beautiful one.
