Today we’d like to introduce you to Maksim Zhurakov.

Maksim Zhurakov

Hi Maksim, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey toward founding the Global Interfaith Progressive Spiritual Ministry and the wellness movement Global Wellness Resonance has been a natural evolution, driven by a decade of deep work in the wellness industry and a persistent observation: true healing cannot be found in a bottle or a lab alone; it must be anchored in the spirit. I began my career in the science of natural wellness, focusing on complex formulations and the power of botanical ingredients. Through Global Wellness Resonance, I sought to harmonize the body with nature, believing that by providing the right physical tools, health would naturally follow. However, as my projects grew and I worked more closely with people, I noticed a recurring pattern. Even with the best physical support, many individuals—particularly those in high-stress professions—remained profoundly depleted. I realized I was witnessing a soul-level burnout that no commercial product could fix.
The turning point came when I looked at the ‘front-line’ heroes of our community: healthcare workers, first responders, and specialists who pour themselves out until they have nothing left. I saw that they were operating in a spiritual vacuum. This led me to pivot from a commercial business model to a mission-based ministry. I realized that my true calling wasn’t just ‘selling wellness,’ but ‘serving wellness’ by bridging the interface between physical health and spiritual resilience.
Navigating the transition to a formally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit religious corporation was a test of faith and a major milestone. It allowed me to move beyond the limitations of traditional business and create a transparent, community-focused entity. Today, I stand at a pivotal moment where my years of expertise in natural health and my spiritual mission have merged. We are now working to establish our first Spiritual Wellness Support Center in Los Angeles—a sanctuary designed to restore the spirit of those who keep our society running, from the exhausted specialist to the youth seeking direction in an era of rapid technological change.
My story is no longer about my own creations; it is about building a scalable foundation that starts here in LA and expands across the nation, ensuring that as our world becomes more automated, our humanity remains spiritually grounded and resilient.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been anything but a smooth road. Like any pioneer, I began by navigating the complex world of natural formulations and product launches, but I quickly realized that even the best products were merely a ‘Band-Aid’ for a much deeper, systemic crisis: the profound spiritual and mental exhaustion paralyzing our community. The greatest obstacle was trying to fit a mission of national importance into a traditional commercial box. I saw that our first responders, healthcare heroes, and those displaced by the rise of AI and automation didn’t just need more ‘wellness products’—they needed a fundamental spiritual restoration. This realization forced me to pivot from a commercial model to a mission-driven ministry.
Transitioning into the Global Interfaith Progressive Spiritual Ministry and securing our 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status was a grueling test of faith and bureaucracy. However, this was a strategic necessity. Under U.S. law and constitutional principles, this status allows our supporters to redirect their tax liability toward rebuilding the community. Supporting us is not a ‘loss’ of capital; it is a legally recognized investment in the spiritual infrastructure of America.
Today, our primary challenge is ‘brick and mortar.’ In a city like Los Angeles, real estate is the ultimate gatekeeper. We are starting from zero, searching for a physical sanctuary to house our vision. We are calling on property owners and visionaries to act as the pioneers of our time. We have the legal standing, the expertise, and a scalable model that begins in Los Angeles but is designed to reach every city in every state.
Stepping into the spotlight to ask for this level of public support has been a personal growth curve for me. But I have learned that the mission to restore the resilience of our specialists, our youth, and our workforce is far bigger than my preference for privacy. We have the blueprint and the federal mandate; now we just need the doors to open

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Global Interface Progress Spiritual Ministry?
At Global Interfaith Progressive Spiritual Ministry, we recognize a truth that many feel but few address: we are living in a time of profound uncertainty. Between the rapid rise of AI, economic shifts, and the relentless pressure on our front-line heroes, people are losing their sense of direction. They are spiritually exhausted. We exist to be the anchor in this storm. What we do & Our Foundation of Faith:
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit religious corporation, but our foundation is the universal principle of Faith in Action. We believe that every human being is fueled by faith—whether it is faith in God, faith in a bright future, faith in the resilience of the American family, or even a skeptic’s faith in their own reason. Even if a person believes in nothing, they believe in that ‘nothing.’ Our doors are open to everyone because we know that when people unite through shared values, they become invincible.
The Power of Your Support (Zero-Loss Giving):
We want our community to understand a vital financial reality: supporting our ministry does not mean taking money ‘out of your pocket.’ These are funds that would otherwise be paid to the government in taxes. By donating to us, you are legally exercising your right to redirect those tax dollars to support your own community.
How it works legally: Upon receiving your contribution—whether it is funds, equipment, or real estate—we provide you with an Official Written Acknowledgment (Donation Receipt). This document serves as formal substantiation for the IRS, allowing you to deduct the full fair market value of your gift from your taxable income. Effectively, you pay less in taxes to the government and instead keep those resources working directly for the mission you believe in. It is a strategic, government-sanctioned way to ensure your hard-earned wealth serves your values.
What sets us apart:
We aren’t a commercial brand; we are a movement. Our ‘Front-line Support Initiative’ specifically targets healthcare workers, first responders, and those displaced by the robotic age. We combine the scientific precision of our roots in natural wellness (Global Wellness Resonance) with the profound, grounding power of spiritual ministry.
What we want readers to know:
Our vision begins in Los Angeles but is destined for every state in the union. We are calling on the visionaries of LA—those with the resources, the transportation, the equipment, and especially the real estate—to help us open our first doors. By providing a physical sanctuary, you are helping us build the spiritual infrastructure of America. Join us. Whether you believe in a Higher Power or simply in the power of humanity, your place is here. Together, we will make our community, and our country, stronger and more resilient than ever before.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My journey has never been a solitary one. First and foremost, I owe everything to God; He has been my ultimate guide and strength through every turn of my life. Alongside that spiritual foundation, I have been blessed with incredible mentors and friends who stood by me and believed in my vision for Global Wellness Resonance when it was nothing more than an idea. I have always lived by a simple principle: help others, and the community will show up for you. For years, that has been my reality. But today, as we launch the Global Interfaith Progressive Spiritual Ministry, the scale of the challenge has changed. Personal support is no longer enough to solve the problems facing an entire city.
I am at a point where I must be honest: I have reached the limit of what one person can achieve alone. To open the first Spiritual Support Center in Los Angeles for our doctors, firefighters, and those losing their footing in this new era of AI and economic shift, I need real partners. I am looking for people of action—those who have the administrative resources, the equipment, or the vacant space to contribute. I am searching for those ready to unite and build a true sanctuary for our neighbors. We can survive individually, but we can only win and build a future if we do it together.
