Today we’d like to introduce you to Tahia Lameer.
Hi Tahia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I didn’t originally plan to start a consulting business, but my career naturally led me here.
After years in corporate roles, I found myself craving more ownership and impact in the work I was doing. When my position shifted internally and compensation changed, it became a moment of reassessment. I chose to stay — but I also chose to start building something of my own on the side.
That decision led me to freelance project management work, where I discovered monday.com. What stood out to me wasn’t just the software — it was the gap. Businesses weren’t struggling because they lacked tools; they were struggling because their processes lived in their heads.
I became certified in monday.com’s Work Management and CRM products and began building systems for clients. Within 18 months, I had developed a strong client base. Eventually, I launched MsMonday.com so I could work directly with clients and build something sustainable on my own terms.
Today, my focus isn’t just on building boards — it’s on translating mental clutter into structured, scalable systems. Before any build-out, I audit workflows and operations so that the technology supports the business, not the other way around.
MsMonday is about more than fixing a platform. It’s about helping business owners move from chaos to clarity — and creating infrastructure that actually supports growth.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road.
One of the biggest challenges was realizing that starting a business requires far more than expertise in your craft. In corporate environments, infrastructure already exists — marketing, legal, accounting, operations. When you step out on your own, you become all of it.
I wasn’t just mastering monday.com; I was learning how to build a website, define service packages, handle contracts, understand tax implications, develop branding, communicate with clients, and refine how to sell value — not just tasks. That kind of learning curve doesn’t come with a training manual.
There was a lot of trial and error in the early stages. But what helped me navigate it was the same foundation I bring to my clients: systems thinking. Years of project management trained me to anticipate risk, create contingency plans, and operate methodically. I don’t rely on motivation — I rely on structure.
There’s also an emotional component to building something from scratch — learning to trust your own judgment when there’s no corporate safety net. That shift was just as significant as the operational learning curve.
Ultimately, I treated building the business like any complex project: assess, design, test, refine. When something didn’t work, I adjusted. I always had a Plan B — and usually a Plan C.
We’ve been impressed with MsMonday.com , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
MsMonday.com is a workflow and systems consulting practice focused on helping business owners move from mental clutter to operational clarity.
While I specialize in monday.com — particularly Work Management and CRM — my work goes beyond building boards. What sets MsMonday apart is that I don’t start with the software. I start by assessing and defining what already exists within the business.
Many organizations invest in tools before clearly mapping their processes. I audit current workflows, identify gaps, clarify roles and handoffs, and then design a structured ecosystem inside monday.com that reflects how the business actually operates. Technology should support strategy — not replace it.
I’m known for translating what’s “in someone’s head” into a tangible, scalable system. That includes client onboarding pipelines, CRM architecture, internal operations boards, and executive dashboards — all built with long-term sustainability in mind.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud that MsMonday has developed a reputation for clarity and structure. Clients don’t just receive a build; they receive a framework. The goal isn’t dependency — it’s empowerment.
What I want readers to know is this: growth doesn’t come from adding more tools. It comes from designing infrastructure that allows a business to function efficiently and confidently. That’s what MsMonday is built to do.
