Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikita Mae Puyat.

Hi Nikita Mae, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My background is in working with start-ups and small businesses, and I quickly realized that I love helping companies grow from the ground up. Being part of the early stages, where ideas turn into structure and strategy, has always been the most fulfilling part of my work.

Along the way, I also became a Pilates instructor, driven by a long-standing interest in health, wellness, and balance. That experience shaped how I think about growth, both personally and professionally, and reinforced the importance of sustainability and intention.

Starting my own agency, Bold Digital Studio, felt like a natural next step. It allowed me to combine my marketing experience with my passion for wellness, while supporting more small businesses and start-ups in building brands that can grow without burnout.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but that was something I expected when starting a business. Growth has come in seasons, with natural ups and downs along the way.

One of the biggest challenges has been learning to navigate uncertainty. Building something from the ground up requires patience, adaptability, and a willingness to learn as you go. There were moments of doubt, periods of overextension, and times when I had to recalibrate what growth really meant.

Those challenges ultimately shaped how I work today. They pushed me to build more sustainable systems, trust my instincts, and redefine success in a way that feels aligned rather than rushed. There’s a quote I like to remind myself, “choose your hard.” There’s always going to be obstacles regardless of what route you choose. I knew coming in that this road wouldn’t be easy, but so far, it’s been deeply valuable.

We’ve been impressed with Bold Digital Studio , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Bold Digital Studio is a women-led digital marketing agency that partners with small businesses and start-ups, primarily in the health, wellness, and lifestyle space. We specialize in social media strategy, paid advertising, content creation, branding, and building marketing systems that support long-term growth.

What sets us apart is our approach. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all marketing or hustle-driven growth. Instead, we focus on creating intentional, sustainable strategies that help founders grow without burning themselves out. Our work is designed to give clients clarity, consistency, and more time back, not just more content or numbers on a dashboard.

Brand-wise, what I’m most proud of is the foundation we’re building. Bold Digital Studio is rooted in values like balance, trust, and alignment, and that shows up in both our client relationships and our work. We aim to be a true partner, not just a service provider.

Our brand is built for founders who care deeply about their business but also about their life outside of it. Our goal is to help them build something that feels as good behind the scenes as it looks from the outside.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
When it comes to networking and finding mentors, what has worked best for me is building intentional and authentic relationships. I’ve learned that the most meaningful connections don’t come from trying to impress or extract value, but from genuine curiosity and mutual respect.

I focus on showing up consistently, listening more than I speak, and staying in touch even when I don’t need anything. Many of the mentors and collaborators in my life started as simple conversations that grew over time through trust and shared values.

I also believe mentorship doesn’t always have to be formal. Some of the most impactful guidance I’ve received came from observing how others lead, ask questions, and navigate challenges. When you approach networking with sincerity and patience, the right relationships tend to unfold naturally.
