Meet Megan Baca of Chaser Brand in Gardena

Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Baca.

Megan, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
After over a decade in the Contemporary Fashion Industry in LA, working and learning at Trina Turk, Three Dots, Sanctuary, Michael Stars and LA Made, I joined forces with Chaser to build a lifestyle collection to complement the graphic tee assortment to create a unique look for the brand.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Every path worth taking has highs and lows, but the bumps in the road were learning experiences and made the success along the way all the more sweet, as it feels well earned.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Chaser Brand story. Tell us more about the business.
Chaser is a contemporary clothing line dedicated to the evolution of fashion, designed in Southern California! We are known for super soft hand feel and perfect fit. There is a lot of competition out there, but with a seasoned eye and elevated taste level we are able to do it better, our clothes feel better and fit better and maintain comfortable casual and above all cool. style. I personally overseas everything creative, from initial design, through product development, through fit and preproduction of Women’s, Mens, Kids and Swimwear. That extends to the interior design of our corporate Showrooms and our Retails stores so that we are able to actualize the Chaser vision from top to bottom.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t believe in luck exactly, I believe in hard work, talent and good timing. But, I do think that timing has a big role in things playing out for the best, so I would say that timing has been on our side up till now, knock on wood!
