Hi Solange, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I began my career in the beauty industry as a hairstylist and barber, working with both women’s and men’s hair. Those early years gave me a strong foundation in aesthetics, symmetry, and understanding how beauty can deeply impact confidence and self-esteem.

Over time, I felt called to specialize and transition into permanent makeup. I stepped away from traditional hair services to focus exclusively on micropigmentation, where artistry, precision, and purpose come together.

Today, I offer cosmetic and restorative micropigmentation, including brows, lips, eyeliner, corrective work, tattoo correction and removal, as well as paramedical areola tattooing. I also provide advanced skin treatments such as plasma fibroblast and other non-invasive skincare procedures focused on skin rejuvenation and quality.

My work is centered on natural results, technical excellence, and helping clients feel confident, empowered, and comfortable in their own skin.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of my biggest challenges in the early stages was building visibility and structure without having a team or support system. I was responsible for everything — not only the technical side of my work, but also the business and marketing side.

I had to teach myself how to build my own website, learn digital marketing, run paid ads on platforms like Facebook, and understand how to attract the right clients. On top of that, I learned how to create my own content, edit photos and videos, produce before-and-after transformations, and manage my social media presence — skills I didn’t have at the beginning.

While this was one of the most challenging parts of my journey, it also became one of the most empowering. Learning to do everything myself gave me a deep understanding of my brand, my audience, and my business as a whole. Today, those skills allow me to grow with confidence, independence, and clarity.

We’ve been impressed with Solange Beauty Salon & Ink, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Solange Beauty Salon & Ink specializes primarily in microblading and cosmetic micropigmentation, with a strong focus on customized brow design. Microblading is the core of my work, and I am trained in multiple techniques and styles, including European techniques such as Phibrows, which allows me to tailor each result to the client’s facial structure, skin type, and personal preferences.

In addition to brows, I offer cosmetic and restorative services such as lip pigmentation, eyeliner, corrective tattoo work and removal, paramedical areola tattooing, scar camouflage, and plasma fibroblast skin rejuvenation.

I am known for natural-looking results, technical precision, and versatility. What sets my work apart is the depth of my training, my ability to combine different techniques to create fully customized treatments, and my ability to communicate fluently in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, which allows me to connect with a diverse clientele and provide a more personalized experience.

My focus is always on results that enhance confidence, self-esteem, and overall well-being.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I see the industry moving toward more natural, long-lasting results and trust-based relationships. Paramedical aesthetics, especially 3D areola tattooing, will continue to grow as more women seek restorative work that supports confidence and healing.

My goal is to become a leading reference in 3D areola tattooing in the United States, known for natural results, ethical practice, and highly specialized restorative care.

Today, my work is already known for delivering natural and durable results, and most of my clients come through referrals rather than advertising.
