Today we’d like to introduce you to Devin Wozencraft.
Hi Devin, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started as a Farmers Insurance Agent in 1999 primarily specializing in auto/home/life insurances. However, not being too thrilled with this line of expertise, and having a background in boat life, I decided to start pushing marine insurance. Over time, our Farmers Insurance agency started phasing out and our insurance brokerage, Wozencraft Insurance Agency, started becoming well known coast to coast as a marine insurance specialty agency. Today, we are licensed in 45 states and travel all over the country in our own speed boat promoting the business at various boat shows and charity boating events, such as Poker Runs. We also are the title advertiser for the Wozencraft 31′ Victory race boat that competes in the Super Stock boat race class.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Of course not always a smooth road. However, once we started specializing in marine insurance, the doors opened up for us and it’s a been a great ride. Additionally, a few years ago we opened up Wozencraft Finance, which is a company that offers boat loans to borrowers purchasing new or used boats nationwide. www.wozencraftfinance.com

1. the many years we’ve been in business.
2. we work with aprox. 15 different insurance companies to usually offer the best options and deals to our clients
3. being a boater myself and attending many boating events all over the country.
