Meet Misha Helling De Lehnhoff of The Hive

Today we’d like to introduce you to Misha Helling De Lehnhoff.

Hi Misha, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m Misha Helling de Lehnhoff, a Guatemalan entrepreneur and community builder, and none of what I’ve built would be possible without the constant support, encouragement, and belief of my husband, Martin, my children, and my parents. Their presence has been a steady foundation in every stage of my journey. I’m also deeply grateful for my community—women who began as part of a shared vision and have since become close friends, support systems, and chosen family.
I’m the founder of The Hive and the co-founder of Premium BARF Guatemala.
2025 has been a year of profound change for me—a year of restructuring my life from the inside out, both emotionally and professionally. It’s been a period of growth where I’ve learned to build with intention, structure, and alignment, always supported by the people who walk beside me as I take each new step.
In March of this year, with the encouragement of my loved ones, I founded The Hive. What began as a simple idea quickly evolved into a vibrant community of women who now feel like family. We gather once a month in thoughtfully designed, themed experiences created to offer women something rare: a pause from the weight of their daily responsibilities.
The Hive is a space where women can reconnect with themselves, feel cared for, and find inspiration. Personal growth is at the center of everything we do. Our events invite women to invest in themselves in a deeper way—not just externally, but internally. It’s about confidence, self-awareness, and what I consider a true glow up: one rooted in personal development and inner strength.
Our community is supported by collaborating brands that share our vision and values. Through these partnerships, we create meaningful experiences, thoughtful gifts, and genuine connections. Beyond that, The Hive has naturally become a platform that uplifts entrepreneurs and businesswomen within the community. Inside La Colmena, members share their projects, support one another, and grow together through collaboration rather than competition.
Another defining part of my journey this year has been my connection to horses. Entering the equestrian world brought a new level of awareness into my life. Working with these animals taught me emotional regulation, presence, discipline, and respect for energy—lessons that deeply influence how I lead, create, and live. I feel honored to share my life with them, as they have become an essential part of my daily rhythm, alongside my family and my community.
Everything I build today—my businesses, The Hive, my personal structure, and my connection to the equestrian world—is interconnected. Each part reflects a life intentionally designed, supported by love, and guided by purpose.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road—and I don’t think meaningful paths ever are. One of my biggest challenges has been learning how to hold multiple roles at once: being a wife, a mother, an entrepreneur, and a community leader, while still making space for myself as a woman.
There were moments where I realized that growth requires structure, emotional awareness, and the courage to slow down in order to move forward with intention. Learning to trust my inner voice, set boundaries, and build with purpose rather than urgency has been a continuous process.
Another challenge was allowing myself to be seen—not just in success, but in vulnerability. Creating a community like The Hive meant leading from an honest place, understanding that connection doesn’t come from perfection, but from authenticity.
Each challenge became an invitation to grow. Looking back, those moments of uncertainty are exactly what gave clarity to my vision and depth to the work I do today.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
The Hive is a women-centered community and experience-based platform created to support personal growth, connection, and conscious living. What we do goes beyond events—we design intentional spaces where women feel seen, supported, and inspired.
We specialize in creating curated monthly gatherings that combine self-development, community, and meaningful experiences. Each event is thoughtfully designed around a theme and offers women a break from their daily responsibilities, allowing them to reconnect with themselves while forming genuine connections with others who share similar values and life goals.
What sets The Hive apart is our focus on depth and authenticity. This is not a networking space built around transactions or appearances. It’s a community built on emotional awareness, personal evolution, and collaboration over competition. Women come to The Hive not only to enjoy a beautiful experience, but to feel safe being themselves.
I’m especially proud of the organic way the community has grown. What started as a vision has become a support system where friendships form, collaborations emerge, and women actively uplift one another. Through La Colmena, our internal network, entrepreneurs and businesswomen are encouraged to share their projects and support each other’s growth.
The Hive is also proudly supported by brands that align with our values, allowing us to create elevated experiences and thoughtful moments of appreciation for our members. These partnerships are rooted in intention and shared purpose, not just visibility.
What I want readers to know is that The Hive was created with heart, structure, and vision. It’s a space where women are reminded that investing in themselves is not a luxury—it’s essential. Everything we offer is designed to support women in becoming more aligned, confident, and connected versions of themselves.

How do you define success?
I define success as living a life that feels aligned. For me, it’s the ability to build meaningful work while remaining present for my family, my community, and myself.
Success is having the freedom to create with intention, to grow without losing my values, and to lead from a place of authenticity rather than pressure. It’s seeing a vision take shape while knowing it’s supported by structure, emotional awareness, and purpose.
I also believe success is reflected in impact—when what you build positively affects others. Watching women feel seen, supported, and inspired through The Hive is one of the most fulfilling measures of success in my life.
Ultimately, success is not about perfection or speed; it’s about balance, growth, and staying connected to what truly matters.
