Meet Anna Boyar of Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Boyar.

Anna, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I began my modeling career in Moscow when I was 14 years old. More than anything, I dreamed of traveling the world and expanding my horizons, and I felt that modeling could open those doors for me.

At 15, I signed my first international contract with Elite Miami and traveled to the United States with my mom for my very first modeling contract.
That moment marked the beginning of my professional international career. An opportunity that has taken me across Europe, Russia, Asia, and the United States, working with major agencies and global brands. Eventually, it led me to Los Angeles, where I now call Hollywood home and continue to grow not only as a model, but also as an actress and singer.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Of course, not everything was smooth, I don’t think it ever is for anyone. Even when you choose the right path and follow your purpose, you inevitably face challenges along the way. Looking back now, I realize that every difficulty and hardship was necessary for me to become the person I am today. They made me stronger and more experienced. Even now, I continue to encounter obstacles on my journey. That’s life.
The most difficult period of my life was losing someone very close to me. My emotional state during that time affected almost every area of my life, including my modeling career.
Eventually, I thought I had recovered from the loss and was ready to move forward and conquer the world again. It felt like things were finally falling into place or so I thought.
I signed a long-awaited contract with an agency in New York. Going to New York had always been my biggest dream, and I looked forward to that trip with all my heart, hoping that new opportunities would help quiet the grief of losing someone I loved. But things turned out very differently.
My time in New York quickly turned into panic attacks, and I began to feel that my emotional state was only getting worse in that beautiful but incredibly fast-paced city. I wasn’t ready for it, and everything was intensified by the fact that I didn’t have enough work or financial stability at the time to allow myself to stay there.
I returned home to Russia and realized that something had to change: my mindset, my approach, my entire way of living. Because going back to how things were before was no longer possible. Something within me had shifted.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As an artist and creative, my work spans several disciplines: modeling, acting, dancing, and singing. I enjoy expressing different characters, ideas, and emotions through my personality.
As a model and performer, I’m able to transform and clearly communicate the vision behind the project or brand I’m working with.

I’ve worked with brands such as Savage x Fenty, Nike, Max Mara, Free People, Longines, Staud, Oysho etc. I have appeared in magazines like L’Officiel, Elle, Women’s Health and was featured on the cover of Marie Claire.

What makes me the most proud is receiving positive feedback and continued collaborations from the people I work with. I always put my heart into the process and aim to deliver the best results for every project. That, in turn, gives me a deep sense of fulfillment, knowing that I’m on the right path.

It’s difficult for me to say exactly what sets me apart, because I try not to compare myself to others. I simply focus on being myself. My unique talents, features, skills, and personal energy make me who I am and that naturally sets me apart.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
I believe that finding the right people, mentors, and connections starts with the kind of person you are. It depends on how interesting you are to the people in the circle you want to be part of. People are much more open to collaboration, communication, and relationships when you are a multifaceted, genuine individual who can also offer something in return, even if it’s simply positive energy and the way you make them feel.

People are drawn to those who have strong values, a love for life, ambition, and a trustworthy, human approach. They appreciate individuals who inspire them. That’s why it’s essential to develop your personal qualities. When you do, forming meaningful and valuable connections becomes natural and effortless, you simply start attracting those people.
