Hey, I’m Shay, a tattoo artist based in Los Angeles, and I’m 33. With a lifelong love for art, I’m inspired by nature and animals. I enjoy painting and drawing with different media to express my creativity. As a tattoo artist, I strive to create unique, large-scale pieces that capture each person’s individuality. Every tattoo is a personal journey, and I collaborate closely with my clients to bring their ideas to life. Through our joint effort, we create pieces that are precise, meaningful, and tailored to their story. With a specialization in various styles, I merge creativity and skill to ensure each tattoo not only looks great but also feels like a natural fit for the person wearing it.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been a rollercoaster, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Building my brand and clientele from scratch in LA has been financially tough, but it’s worth it. I feel like I’m leveling up in multiple areas, especially in this diverse and competitive market. As an artist, I’ve had my share of creative blocks, but new projects always get me inspired and motivated.
