Hi Ashley, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hello! My name is Ashley Salinas, and my husband, Emiliano, and I started Roaming Glory Coffee in October 2024. We’ve been married for 17 years, and coffee has always been at the heart of our mornings together. There was never a day we didn’t share a cup — it simply wasn’t allowed! (haha)

Coffee has always been part of our rhythm, and for years, we dreamed about starting a business together — we just didn’t know what it would be. Then, a couple of years ago, we realized our love for coffee could be the perfect way to share something meaningful with others.

I grew up in a family business — my parents own a restaurant in Riverside — so the food industry runs in my blood. Serving people and creating connections through good food (and now coffee!) is truly my love language. I could talk to anyone for hours, while my husband brings his business sense and creativity to life behind the scenes. It’s the perfect balance — I talk, he builds.

Last year, we took a leap of faith and launched Roaming Glory. We started small — selling coffee from our home to friends and neighbors — but word spread quickly. One opportunity led to another, and before we knew it, doors started opening for us in ways we never imagined.

Every day still takes a lot of work — from loading and unloading the van to setting up the coffee cart — but it’s also a reminder of how far we’ve come and where we’re headed. We love what we do because it’s truly a family affair. Our kids, Kayley (17) and Nick (9), are part of the journey too, helping wherever they can and sharing in every milestone. Even though it’s been far from easy, every challenge has been worth it.

We can’t wait to share our coffee with even more people. Every person who takes a sip becomes part of our story — a story brewed with love, family, and a whole lot of faith.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been far from easy. From the very beginning, we were met with one challenge after another. Our dream was to open a coffee shop — a cozy storefront where people could gather, connect, and feel at home. But the reality hit hard. The cost was far beyond what we could afford, and for a moment, it felt like that dream might never happen.

We started with absolutely nothing — no savings, no investors, just a vision and the support of our family who believed in us when we barely believed in ourselves. With their help, we were able to get the coffee cart and start small. That cart became our starting point, our foundation, and our hope.

Even then, the road didn’t get easier. Every month is a challenge — trying to build momentum, book events, and keep the business growing while also raising a family. It’s been mentally and emotionally exhausting at times, juggling long days, uncertainty, and the constant pressure to keep moving forward.

We’ve heard “no” more times than we can count, and each one hurt deeply. But through every setback, we kept going. Giving up was never an option.

Starting a business from nothing takes grit, faith, and a lot of heart. Every hurdle, every sleepless night, and every ounce of pain has been worth it — because it’s built us into who we are today. Each cup of coffee we serve is a reminder of how far we’ve come and how much love and sacrifice went into every step of this journey.

We specialize in craft coffee, made with intention and care from start to finish. From our carefully chosen coffee beans to our signature house-made syrups, every detail matters. Each drink we serve represents hours of testing, refining, and perfecting, all so our customers can enjoy a truly memorable coffee experience.

What sets Roaming Glory apart is the heart behind it. We’re a husband-and-wife team who started this dream from scratch — no investors, no shortcuts, just hard work and faith. Every syrup is handcrafted, every batch is made fresh, and every flavor is created with love. We take pride in using natural ingredients and recipes developed through countless late nights in our kitchen, making sure every cup meets our standard of excellence.

We’re proud that our brand has grown organically, through word of mouth and the support of customers who believe in what we do. When we first started, my husband told me, “We need to get our brand out there — people need to know Roaming Glory.” And that’s exactly what we’ve done. What began in Irvine has now reached across Fullerton and throughout Orange County — something we could have only dreamed of.
