Gianluca Todisco shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Gianluca, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What do you think others are secretly struggling with—but never say?
I think many people are silently struggling with the fear of not being enough, of not being seen, not being understood, or not living up to some invisible standard. We all carry that quiet tension between who we are and who we think we should be. I believe that’s why art and music matter so much, they give voice to what we can’t always put into words. Through sound, I try to create a space where people can feel seen, where vulnerability becomes strength, and where being human, with all its chaos and beauty, finally feels okay.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Gianluca Todisco, an Italian singer, songwriter and artist. My art has always been my way of exploring the invisible, the emotional and spiritual dimensions that exist beneath everyday life. After moving from Italy first to New York and then to Los Angeles, I began shaping my sound as a bridge between worlds: mixing organic textures, field recordings, and electronic elements to create something both human and transcendent.
Sounds that I created and worked on even for the Sound Bath & Meditation sessions I teach.
My new EP, “THE INNER CIRCLE”, is a spiritual and sonic journey, a process of transformation and self-discovery. Every sound, rhythm, and lyric reflects the alchemy of facing fears and turning them into light. What makes my work special, I think, is that it’s not just about music, it’s about energy, connection, and creating experiences that make people feel seen, grounded, and expanded at the same time. Right now, I’m working on new music that continues to explore that delicate space between the body and the soul, between sound and silence. It is a Sound Bath Meditation itself.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
I think the part of me that always felt the need to prove something, to the world, or even to myself, has finally served its purpose. For a long time, that energy pushed me to grow, to refine my art, to search for meaning. But now I understand that creation doesn’t need to come from striving, it can come from peace, from presence. I’m learning to release the version of me that was driven by pressure, and instead create from pure alignment, from joy. That’s the energy behind “THE INNER CIRCLE” a return to the essence, where nothing needs to be forced, and everything simply flows and it is also what I share through my Sound Bath & Meditation sessions.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
It happened when I realized that pain wasn’t my enemy, it was my teacher. For a long time, I tried to hide it behind perfection, behind achievements, behind silence. But the moment I allowed myself to feel it fully, something shifted. I began to understand that pain holds an incredible creative force, it breaks you open, but it also gives you depth, empathy, and truth. When I started transforming that energy into music, it became alchemy. That’s when pain stopped being something to survive, and became something to create from.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What truths are so foundational in your life that you rarely articulate them?
That everything I experience: love, pain, joy, silence, is part of the same divine current. That life isn’t happening to me, it’s happening through me. I deeply believe that we are creators of our own reality, constantly shaping it through the energy we carry and the stories we tell ourselves. I rarely say it out loud because it feels sacred, something to be lived, not explained. This truth guides every note I sing and every sound I create. It’s the quiet knowing that everything is connected and that beauty and purpose exist even in the spaces we don’t yet understand.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people say that I made them feel, that through my music, my sound baths, they found a piece of themselves they had forgotten. I don’t care if they remember every lyric or melody, I care that something I created reminded them of their own light. I hope they say I lived with honesty, that I turned my pain into beauty, and that I never stopped searching for truth. More than anything, I hope they say I loved, deeply, fearlessly, endlessly and that my art was a reflection of that love.
