We’re looking forward to introducing you to Britt Michaelian. Check out our conversation below.
Britt, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
I’ve gotten to an age where I feel it’s time. I need to face my fears and limiting beliefs head on. To do that, I choose to stretch beyond my comfort zone.
I also choose to name my fears and limiting beliefs that I am moving beyond. I grew up as a “latch key kid” which meant my parents both worked and from a young age, no one was home when I came home from school. I felt invisible, like nothing I did mattered and that I was not worthy. And it wasn’t until the past few years that I was able to acknowledge those false beliefs. I know my parents loved me and were doing the best they could. But, as a kid I just wanted them to be there and hold me.
Another interesting thing that happens when you feel invisible is that you want to be visible, so success is really important. And failure is scary because it means (in my mind) you will either be invisible again or you will be visible for the wrong reasons.
So, in my pursuit of being of service to others while expanding my own horizons, I am being called to face my fear of failure and being invisible by hosting my next event, Healing House at the Lido Theater in Newport Beach. This will be the biggest Healing House I have hosted. And this time, it will be a fundraiser for City of Hope cancer treatment centers, in honor of my mother, father, and sister, and my friends who have had cancer journeys.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a frequency artist (which means my art transmits healing frequencies), reiki master and quantum healing hypnosis practitioner who works with clients looking for intuitive clarity around a problem they are facing in career, relationship, or health. My company, The Daily Healing provides services designed to help people heal their body, mind, and soul through seven healing practices that will allow them to become their own greatest healers. This includes my annual art and wellness event, Healing House that has been featured in the LA Times, Le Mile magazine, VoyageLA, and more.
For subscribers of brittmichaelian.art, I send free monthly group reiki healing on the first of every month at 11:11am PT. All anyone needs to do is subscribe to brittmichaelian.art and healing will be sent every month.
For anyone interested in developing confidence in your intuition so you can trust your inner knowing when it comes to your health, business, relationships, etc, I host a monthly Confident Intuition workshop on Zoom. Each month, we go through meditations and exercises so you can learn to trust your intuition. I share resources and there’s a Q&A so you can have all of your questions asked. It is a very supportive workshop for all levels that creates space for people to experience the intuitive growth that comes with intention and consistency.
I also offer one-on-one packages for people looking for more in depth transformation so you can turn the page on where you are and create your ideal life. The Quantum Manifestation Accelerator is a five session program where we explore the wisdom of your higher self through quantum healing hypnosis, bolstered by my intuitive channeling. We then integrate the messages of your higher self into your life, dissolve limiting beliefs, and create a plan for you to move forward with clarity, confidence, and mindfulness as you embark on living your ideal life. At the end of the program, I create a painting that transmits the healing frequencies that will support your ideal life and highest evolution.
Some clients want to continue working for more than the five session program, so I offer monthly on-going packages as well. I love this work. I love witnessing the brilliance of my clients. And I know that this work is making the world a better place because my clients are doing the work their soul came to do. I’m just the facilitator.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
This is a really interesting question and I don’t think I’ve ever read or heard anyone else’s response to this. The part of me that has served its purpose is my insecurity.
I am grateful for the part of me that wanted to protect me from getting hurt or not being good enough, but as I am now in my 50s, I know without a doubt that I have made mistakes, that I will make more mistakes and that’s how I learn. That’s how we all learn.
The difference between who I was when my insecurities were in the passenger seat of my mind and who I am now that they are somewhere in the rear view mirror is I can walk with the knowledge that I am a loving, honest, caring being. I am not in judgement of others. I am constantly seeking to add love and value to the lives of others. I am not perfect. And that is okay. The mistakes I’ve made, what I look like, how much money I have, or what accomplishments I’ve achieved are not who I am.
Who I am today might be different from who I am tomorrow or who I was yesterday, but the one constant is that I seek to bring more love into this world every day.
When you were sad or scared as a child, what helped?
I love this question because when I was a child, I was always sad and scared. I was often alone. What made me feel better was art, music, and nature. I loved going into my backyard and pretending I was a fairy. Playing with animals. Climbing trees. Building forts. Drawing. Making sculptures out of found objects. And then giving what I created to my parents when they came home. I was scared of the dark because I was always sensitive to energy. Prayer always helped calm my nerves and it still does.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
1000%. When I was younger, there was probably a difference between my public and private persona, but as I’ve gotten older I don’t have the time or inclination to pretend to be anything I’m not. I am very sensitive to energy, so I can tell when someone else is not being authentic and in my opinion, that is not usually a conscious decision. It simply means they haven’t faced their fears and limiting beliefs or that they haven’t explored the gifts their soul came to bring.
This is why I love doing the work I do with clients. Once they understand who they are and why they’re here, they cannot pretend to be anything other than their true self.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Going on social media. Paying attention to the news.
