Today we’d like to introduce you to Patricia Rodriguez, Esq..
Hi Patricia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Ms. Rodriguez was born to a poor working single mother and grew up homeless until the age of 7 years old. Her mother battled addiction until Ms. Rodriguez was a teenager. Ms. Rodriguez, always determined to make a difference, set herself to getting a higher education and becoming a lawyer. She graduated with honors after a rocky start her freshman year. She left her mother’s home at 13 and lived with family in California while attending high school.
She attended the University of Southern California on scholarship graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing and communications. She went on to attend law school in Philadelphia at Temple University Beasley School of Law. She participated on the mock trial team for three years in high school, three years in college, and on Temple’s National Trial Team; always knowing law was her passion and life. She received exceptional advocacy training from one of the best law school programs in the country.
Ms. Rodriguez previously interned for the Camden Public Defender’s Office, the Philadelphia Public Defender’s Office, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office and the Los Angeles Public Defenders Office. Ms. Rodriguez currently and for the past ten years has represented a wide range of clients, focusing her representation on borrowers facing non-judicial foreclosure. She also handles criminal defense matters including DWI, DUI, Robbery, Possession of firearms, etc., Plaintiff/Personal injury, bankruptcy, family (divorce, custody, etc.), real estate and property law, as well as landlord/tenant disputes (for both landlords and tenants).
She is dedicated and focused on her practice; she carries a caseload and manages the entire legal and business team. She has taken her exceptional training in trial advocacy and aggressively litigated over hundreds of cases with compassionate and tireless effort. She continues to remain an intricate part of the firm’s daily dealings. She currently has dedicated her life and career to helping the underdog fight the impossible fight. She treats every case she handles as if it were her only case and gives each client as much personal attention as absolutely possible. She continues to reinvest in the reinvention of her vision for a better tomorrow for all irregardless of their financial circumstances.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
From surviving a tough childhood riddled with challenges to packing her brain with knowledge at USC and Temple Law, Ms. Rodriguez isn’t just any attorney. She’s racked up serious intern cred, from Camden to LA, and has a black belt in non-judicial foreclosures, criminal defense, and more. With bar memberships that read like a California court’s VIP list, she’s committed to giving every case the red-carpet treatment, regardless of your pocket size. Simply put, Ms. Rodriguez combines life grit with legal wit, ensuring all her clients get top-tier, heartfelt representation.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory is of living in South Central Los Angeles and rollerblading on the University of Souther California campus. I would rollerblade to the campus and then rollerblade on the campus. I dreamed of one day attending school there and ultimately, I was successful in that dream.
