Hi King, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I began in Canoga Park, running a dry-cleaning and alterations business for over a decade. That experience taught me discipline and gave me a deep understanding of garments and how men wear them.

With two master’s degrees (MBA and MGM), I combined business knowledge with a passion for design. Over time, I realized I wasn’t meant to just maintain suits, I was meant to create them. That vision became King David Bespoke Suits.

From Canoga Park to a flagship showroom at the Sherman Oaks Galleria, my journey has always been about more than selling clothing. I create an experience of luxury and confidence.

In 2025, I traveled to Milan to source fabrics from Loro Piana, Zegna, and Vitale Barberis Canonico (VBC). Today, my suits are worn by professionals, grooms, and even clients walking the Emmy Awards red carpet.

My mission is simple: to design garments that don’t just fit the body, but fit the legacy of the man wearing them.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has been far from smooth. I started with limited resources, running a dry-cleaning and alterations business for over a decade. That meant long hours, financial pressures, and constant sacrifice.

When I transitioned into bespoke design, the challenges grew even bigger. I had to invest heavily in fabrics, showrooms, and marketing, often before the revenue was guaranteed. At times, faith was the only thing that kept me moving forward.

I also faced doubts from others and moments where people underestimated me because I wasn’t born into fashion circles. But those struggles became fuel. They pushed me to expand into Sherman Oaks Galleria, source fabrics directly from Milan, and create suits that now appear at weddings, in courtrooms, and even on the Emmy Awards red carpet.

The struggle built the resilience that defines King David Bespoke Suits.

What makes King David Bespoke Suits different is that I don’t just create clothing , I create an experience. Every client is treated like royalty, from the moment they step into my showroom to the final fitting.

I work only with world-class fabrics such as Loro Piana, Zegna, and Vitale Barberis Canonico (VBC), ensuring the highest level of quality. But beyond fabric and fit, I design with legacy in mind. My goal is to craft garments that don’t just fit the body, but fit the story and confidence of the man wearing them.

At King David Bespoke Suits, my work goes beyond tailoring. I specialize in creating luxury bespoke suits designed for professionals, grooms, and red-carpet moments. My clients include lawyers, bankers, tech executives, and entertainment professionals, and my work has been seen at weddings, in courtrooms, and on the Emmy Awards red carpet.

What I’m most proud of is that I built this brand from humble beginnings, combining my MBA/MGM education with years of hands-on experience in garments. Every suit is a balance of precision, heritage fabrics, and modern elegance.

What sets me apart is the experience I create. A showroom at Sherman Oaks Galleria designed for luxury. Fabrics sourced directly from Milan , including Loro Piana, Zegna, and VBC. And a philosophy that a suit should do more than fit the body, it should fit the man’s confidence and legacy.

In short, my work is about more than fashion. It’s about building a brand that inspires excellence and leaves a lasting mark on every client who wears my designs.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something that surprises most people is that I never started out in fashion. My career began in the bio-pharmaceutical industry, working in a structured corporate environment before I ever designed a suit.

Later, I built and ran a dry-cleaning and alterations business for over a decade, which gave me hands-on experience with garments and fabrics. That foundation prepared me for the leap into luxury bespoke tailoring.

Another thing people don’t expect is that I hold two master’s degrees (MBA and MGM). Many assume fashion designers come only from art or design schools, but my background in business and science gives me a different perspective. It allows me to approach fashion with both creativity and strategy.

And perhaps most surprising of all , I’m not just a tailor. I see myself as a designer and curator of experiences. A client once walked into my Sherman Oaks showroom and said, “It smells like money in here.” That one line captures exactly what I strive to create: a space and a brand that embody confidence, elegance, and legacy.
