Meet Alexander Mejia of @Romeo_Alexander in West

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexander Mejia.

Alexander, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I initially started when my wife decided to start her new career in Blogging. I bought our first DSLR camera and instantly fell in love with photography. I started off with taking pictures of my wife for her Mom-Fashion Blog, then it slowly progressed to shooting for big companies and multiple campaigns. My wife to this day remains my favorite subject to shoot!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. I believe every artist, regardless of your craft, comes to a point in their career where they often compare their work with that of others in the industry. It took a while for me to figure out and find my own style of photography. Once you can accomplish finding yourself, it will separate you from the rest. Combining that with a positive attitude, work ethic and passion, will most certainly propel you to success. The Law of attraction, it works! Attract what you want in life, each and every one of us has the power to be great.

Please tell us about @romeo_alexander.
I am currently making a name for myself in Photography and Videography. I am now working on our very own Family vlog series on YouTube. Be on the lookout for “Casa Mejia” on YouTube coming soon!!

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would definitely learn to be patient. When I initially started with Photography and Videography, I wanted to learn everything fast! Patience is key and well worth it.
