Hi Naji, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Unique Candles started back in 1999 by Entrepreneurs Naji and Aida Absi who both had a love for candles and started making them as a hobby on the weekends when they lived abroad. When they came back to the US they both wanted to give up their past careers and try to do something new. At first they started in the garage making candles and selling their products at local art shows and farmers markets. The candles started to sell like hot cakes people loved the unique candles we sold and soon they were doing farmers markets and shows one after the other selling out. Stores started approaching us and wanted to buy our goods wholesale. In 2000 Unique Candles debuted at the California Gift Show in Los Angeles and the buyers loved the products selling and selling out at each show. For next 5 years Unique Candles created their own line of products selling to stores nationwide and even international. 2006 the company started Private labeling for other companies and since then has been pouring and private labeling. In addition to candles we also make diffusers, room sprays, roll on parfumes. Today Unique Candles is one of the leading private labeling companies in the industry, know for their years of experience, attention to detail, one on one customer service, and quality prouducts that any company would trust to put thier name on.
Born in Los Angeles through the hard work and sweat, and the passion for excellence Unique Candles is a prouduct of the American Dream.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like every journey through life the road to success has not been a smooth road. Every business struggles along the way to make it. Hard work dedication, determination and time have been the key ingredients for Unique Candles success. I believe that every business has obstacles its how you resolve them and overcome them that makes the company succeed.
