Today we’d like to introduce you to Sina Rezvanpour.
Sina, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I actually started my career in “big law,” working with Fortune 500 clients where perfection was the standard and the stakes were always high. It was an incredible training ground — I learned to be resourceful, to figure things out without a roadmap, and to deliver under pressure. But I also knew something was missing. I wanted to build something of my own and work directly with clients whose lives I could impact more personally.
That shift became even more personal when I owned a lemon myself. I tried to learn more about my rights and was met with a mess of conflicting information — the law wasn’t clear, and I was ultimately led to believe I didn’t qualify for a claim. Knowing what I know now, my case would have been a slam dunk if it had been in the hands of the firm I went on to create. That experience lit a fire in me to make sure no consumer is left in the dark about their rights the way I was.
I launched Sina Rez Law in 2017 with a simple vision: to reject the tradeoff between great results and great client service. We built systems to deliver both. Along the way, my love of cars drew me deeper into lemon law, and our mission expanded beyond the courtroom. We’ve created more educational content about lemon law than anyone else in the space, because most people with a lemon don’t even know lemon law exists — and that’s a huge problem.
Today, I’m proud to say our firm recovers millions of dollars for consumers every month. We’re in the courtroom every day, going up against manufacturers, and we share those wins and lessons publicly so more people understand their rights. We’re car enthusiasts, yes — but more than that, we’re consumer advocates. And if someone is dealing with constant issues with their car, I want them to know they don’t have to accept it — they have strong rights, and we’re here to fight for them.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Building a law firm from scratch while carving out a space in an industry that’s traditionally slow to change comes with plenty of challenges. Early on, one of the biggest struggles was figuring out how to balance growth with client service. In this industry, you often see firms that either stay small so they can provide hands-on attention, or scale quickly but sacrifice the client experience. I set out to reject that tradeoff, and that meant building systems, hiring carefully, and learning through trial and error.
Another challenge was stepping into lemon law more aggressively. I loved cars and I knew the law inside and out, but I also knew most people didn’t even realize they had rights in the first place. That meant we weren’t just running cases — we were also educating a market that didn’t know it needed us. Creating content consistently, going up against manufacturers, and earning a reputation with opposing counsel and judges all took time, persistence, and a lot of late nights.
Even today, it’s not “smooth” — it’s demanding, and the landscape is always changing. But each of those struggles forced us to get sharper. They made us invest in better systems, better communication, and a stronger culture. And in the end, those challenges are the reason Sina Rez Law is where it is today — recovering millions monthly for consumers and leading the conversation on lemon law rights.
As you know, we’re big fans of Sina Rez Law. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Sina Rez Law is a California-based consumer protection firm that focuses almost entirely on lemon law cases — helping everyday people when their cars spend more time in the shop than on the road. We specialize in going up against major auto manufacturers, and we’ve built a reputation for not just filing claims, but actually litigating cases, trying them when needed, and recovering millions of dollars for consumers every single month.
What sets us apart is twofold. First, our courtroom presence — we’re in the fight every day, negotiating, litigating, and building the kind of credibility with opposing counsel and judges that gets cases done faster and with better outcomes. Second, our commitment to education. We’ve created more lemon law educational content than anyone else in the space, because the reality is that most people with a lemon don’t even know lemon law exists. That’s a huge problem, and we’ve made it our mission to close that gap.
We’re proud to say that our brand isn’t just a name on a billboard. We’re in front of the camera daily, sharing our wins, explaining the law in plain language, and giving consumers the tools to understand their rights before they ever step foot in a courtroom. We’re also car enthusiasts ourselves — so while we love cars, we also love holding manufacturers accountable when they break the law and put consumers in bad situations.
At the end of the day, our brand stands for clarity, protection, and results. We fight for people who feel stuck and powerless against giant manufacturers, and we give them back not just their money, but their confidence that the system can work in their favor.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Over the next 5–10 years, I think the lemon law landscape is going to get even more challenging for consumers. Car manufacturers — some of the world’s largest corporations — continue to lobby aggressively to chip away at lemon law protections, slowly eroding consumers’ rights. It doesn’t happen all at once; it’s death by a thousand cuts, and most consumers don’t even realize what’s being taken away until they need the law themselves.
At the same time, cars are becoming more like rolling computers than mechanical machines. With that added complexity, reliability is going down. We’re already seeing it: transmissions integrated with electronics, infotainment systems tied into core vehicle functions, electric batteries with recalls in the billions. These issues aren’t just inconvenient — they’re harder and more expensive to fix, and they often leave consumers without their cars for weeks or months.
What that means for the industry is twofold. First, demand for lemon law representation is likely to increase as reliability trends decline. Second, there’s a real risk that the laws won’t keep pace if consumers and advocates don’t push back against the manufacturers’ lobbying efforts.
At Sina Rez Law, we see our role not just as litigators but as educators. That’s why we put so much effort into sharing content and breaking down these issues for the public. If consumers know their rights and understand the direction things are headed, they can help protect the very laws that were written to protect them.
Pricing:
- $0 out of pocket for clients — Under California’s Lemon Law, if the case is successful the manufacturer is required to pay the attorney’s fees, not the consumer.
- No upfront fees — We don’t charge retainers, hourly fees, or hidden costs.
- Manufacturer pays if you win — Our clients keep their settlement or refund, while the manufacturer pays our fees separately.
- Free case evaluations — We review cases at no cost to help consumers understand if they qualify.
