Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimmarie Kimmarie.

Hi Kimmarie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
i was born and raised in Wilkinsburg, Pittsburgh Pa. i come from very humble beginnings. VERY. i’ve seen bad things in my neighborhood.

saw an ad in the newspaper about winning 2000.00 in the Miss Pennsylvania. decided to enter, i won. There after, with no training or coaching, i found myself in the finals at The Miss USA (previously owned by donald trump)

shortly after i moved to los angeles, began booking movie roles.but parts and modeling whilst holding down a job at the el rey theater.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
arriving in los angeles,from pittsburgh was rough in the beginning. i felt i was in a different country. a different way of talking and a different traffic, so huge. The City of Pittsburgh’s so quaint, great roads and everything in los angeles was the opposite…not to mention, i had no friends. i came here with not knowing anyone here. No one.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
modeling, walking runway. i’m known mostly for being a model . i’m currently working in skincare where i feel the need to stress a more organic approach to our skin and well being as a whole. i’m proud of skinglowbyKimmarie because it enables me to speak with women of all concerning health. outer appearance is impirtant as well so it’s good that we put our best face forward . it is a preventative skincare that has ori shea leading as the best uvb ray inhibitors. a coffee detox scrub, oatmeal cookie soap and marula oil.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
i haven’t had any mentors but i can say by Not having one, it’s necessary and i know this because i’ve not had one so i lend myself to young ladies often, there are so many things that can be avoided if you Know what they are.
