Daily Inspiration: Meet Jacqueline Choe

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacqueline Choe.

Hi Jacqueline, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was always an artist. I taught myself art and got my start online as a teenager selling my art through etsy and learned how to grow my brand online from there. I used the money from selling my work online and at various shows to continue funding my education taking various online art courses, and then eventually attended Art Center College of Design. I only attended for a month after deciding to drop out as my career was flourishing in other ways, but it was a very valuable time and all the courses I took over the years was well worth it.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely a wild ride! I knew that the life I chose would come with its surprises and its definitely been a learning experience in all the best ways. Some struggles I faced were learning to navigate social media as a younger artist and finding my place and voice in the world.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a multidisciplinary digital artist with a background in fine art and entertainment design. I’m known for my contemporary pop anime fine art. I’m most proud of when I got to show my work at Coachella! I believe people are drawn to my work for my unique position as an experienced professional creative with a younger outlook and a passion for making it reality.
