Daily Inspiration: Meet Latrice Littleton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Latrice Littleton.

Latrice, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Ardor Bin started from a deeply personal place. I’ve always been drawn to beauty, ritual, and the power of scent to transform our energy and environment. During a season of burnout and change, I found solace in creating intentional spaces at home. Lighting a candle became more than just ambiance, it was a grounding moment, a reset. I realized there was space in the market for a brand that merged elevated design with wellness, rooted in nature, luxury, and sustainability.

What began as small-batch candle making evolved into a full lifestyle brand inspired by the California coast and the art of slow living. Every collection is inspired by natural fragrances that we find in nature. Today, Ardor Bin is more than a product, it’s a sensory experience and an invitation to live with more intention, beauty, and presence. As the founder, it’s been a true labor of love.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all, and I think that’s part of what makes the journey meaningful. Building Ardor Bin has been deeply rewarding, but it’s come with plenty of challenges. In the early days, I was hand-pouring candles, packing orders, learning supply chains, and designing collections all while trying to build a brand with intention and staying true to the vision. There were times when inventory delays, sourcing issues, or moments of self-doubt made me question everything.

But each challenge helped sharpen the mission and strengthen the foundation. Early on, I understood my “why.” I’ve learned that creating a soulful brand means embracing growth, staying flexible, and remembering why you started. The road hasn’t been smooth, but it’s been deeply worth it. And I’m still walking it with heart and purpose.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a writer, actor, and founder. Though my wellness-based fragrance brand “Ardor Bin” I create scent-based rituals inspired by the warmth, textures, and beauty of the natural world particularly the California coast. I come from a background as a writer and storyteller, so developing this brand has been a deeply creative process for me. It’s allowed me to tell stories in a new way. Not just with words, but through scent, design, and experience.

Each collection is rooted in emotion and narrative, drawing from nature, memory, and places. What sets Ardor Bin apart is the intention behind every detail. We’re not just making candles, we’re crafting atmospheres that invite you to slow down, connect, and romanticize the simple moments of your day. I’m most proud of creating something that resonates on both a sensory and soulful level.

How do you define success?
I think success is incredibly subjective and for me, it’s less about numbers and more about how aligned I feel in my life and work. Success looks like the freedom to create without restriction, to live a calm, beautiful life filled with love, creativity, and meaningful experiences. It’s being able to do purpose-driven work that resonates with others and brings something soulful into the world.

Building Ardor Bin has been an extension of that definition. It allows me to merge creativity with intention, to tell stories in new ways, and to contribute to people’s everyday experiences. That sense of alignment and impact, that’s what makes me feel truly successful.
