Meet Eve Alas Morán of Burbank

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eve Alas Morán.

Hi Eve, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Eve Alas Morán. I am an actor, singer, songwriter, violinist, dancer, screenwriter, film producer, and ex-national athlete. I am originally from El Salvador but moved to the US when I was 18 years old to pursue a BFA in Dance at Hofstra University in New York. My career started when I was four years old when I began my music studies in violin in El Salvador. When I turned six years old I began to practice rhythmic gymnastics and later joined the national team of El Salvador and became Panamerican Champion in 2010 and Central American Champion. I also represented El Salvador in the World Cup of Pesaro, Italy in 2012. As my athletic and music career were developing, I was also pursuing ballet at a professional level with the Royal Academy of Dance of London’s program. I was able to accomplish every single level with high grades until I graduated with the last exam, called Advanced 2. On top of all the things I was already accomplishing at a young age, I decided to start learning French at L’Alliance Francaise of El Salvador and graduated with a B2 DELF diploma and German at the Deutsche Schule as well. I can speak, read, and write Spanish, English, French and I am still developing my skills in German and now Italian.

Additionally, on 2023 I decided to start my music career and release my first single called Running Back to You, which I wrote and sang in English and French. Currently, I have four more singles all of them with music videos I have produced such as “Leaving New York”, “Coffee”, “You”, “Je reviens” which you can find on my VEVO youtube channel @evealasmoranVEVO and @evealas4804. This upcoming summer we are releasing my next single called “Enamórame”, which is Latin style.

In regards to film, I have produced two short films that are now going to festivals both directed and co-written with Italian director Gabriele M Bussetti. The first one is called “Ca-3N,” a science fiction short film, where I was able to show off my stunts skills and the second one “Not by Choice,” a drama short that talks about Parkinson’s disease and the dance world. I have also produced my first international music video that came out on May 9th 2025 called “El Camino” written and sang by Salvadoran artist Walter Alas Ruíz, and we were able to film in Los Angeles and El Salvador, which was amazingly fun and such a great experience.

All of the things I have done, have helped me become the artist I am today. While being an artist is beautiful, I have also made sure to keep growing in my education. On May 2nd 2025, I graduated as a Master of Fine Arts from the New York Film Academy, have also a background as a fitness trainer, rhythmic gymnastics and dance coach, and as I mentioned before I am a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. I am a believer on hard work and discipline and that is how I carry myself in any environment. I am extremely grateful I have had the opportunities I have had and cannot wait for what comes next.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I think that the journey of an artist is never smooth; however, I love what I do so that takes away all the fear and stress I have had to go through. Being an international student in the US is difficult but not impossible. I am grateful for the fact that this country has given me all the opportunities I could have never had back home but I must say the field I have chosen is extremely competitive; therefore, you must constantly make sure you are reinventing yourself and growing. Some of the struggles have been to find the right people in a country that is unknown and to develop a career that revolves around contacts. However, once you find them all of the opportunities start slowly coming your way but you have to make sure you are always working on your goals otherwise, those doors will remain close.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am an actor, singer, songwriter, dancer, screenwriter, and film producer. I can say I specialize in all of this areas because I keep them all at the same level. What I am most proud of is how I have managed to keep all the areas I am good at growing at the same time and also I am extremely proud of my upcoming short film called “Not by Choice”, a short film that talks about Parkinson’s disease and dance that I was able to co-write and produce. What sets me apart from others is the way I work. I love to get things done on time and have discipline in everything I do, while keeping the creative and artistic side alive. I love to create stories that are meaningful to watch and focus on its essence and the message. I strongly believe that as artists we have the power to change the world; therefore, every movie or artistic creation I am part of, I make sure all of the team is on the same page as well. Communication and respect for me are essential. If those two things are implemented in every project, there is time to focus on the artistic and creative process.

Any big plans?
Currently, I am producing my next single’s music video called “Enamórame”. I just finished recording the music here in Los Angeles. I am also excited for everyone to see “Not By Choice” and am auditioning for roles, and co-writing other projects with my team. I am also part of a new film production company called BGM Films LLC. as a manager; therefore there is a lot happening and I am so grateful for it.
