Hi WILLIE “FUDD”, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.

Willie Hodge aka Fudd

Fudd is an OG and a true pillar of the international krump scene. For over 20 years now

Founder of Démolition Crew one of the largest krump groups in the world, which has marked the history of this dance with its influence and constant presence. Démolition members are present in more than twenty countries around the world (USA, France, Japan, Spain, Germany, South Africa, Switzerland, etc.)

Fudd is the very definition of what we call multitasking:
He is a Dancer, Choreographer, Event Organizer, Judge, beatmaker

His mastery of style and longevity in the field have allowed him to become an emblematic figure of the movement.

His experience in battles, sessions, workshops and his mastery of krump contributes to its evolution and popularity:
He has been a judge at several international events such as
The Cage Kcs championship, krumpfest springbuck, World of Dance and other dance competitions of all styles.

Also innovative in his discipline, he is the co-creator and ambassador of a new style in krump called “T.R.A.B STYLE”

He also regularly organizes Krump Sessions and Events: the SYSTEM, fight night, dc session
Many events recognized for their quality and impact that always bring together the krump community.

As a beatmaker, he is known under the pseudonym of galvatron:
He is also the co-founder of the krump beatmaker collective Mind Freaks Music (aka DCX MUSIC): an entity recognized for its innovative productions and its influence on the Krump music scene for years.

Highly respected as one of the world leaders for his work in the community due to his influence and his remarkable actions and accomplishments. He is a symbol of unity and gathering
Also a barber he owns his own barbershop in Carson where he allows the krump community and the new generations present to have a creative and caring space where they can flourish in their mental health as well as in their artistic development

He has been recognized several times with awards over the years for his leadership and commitment.

Also a stylist and designer
He created his own clothing brand “breaking beariers” which has an undeniable influence on the lifestyle and dress code among krumpers

Fudd continues to inspire and guide the next generation of dancers and artists, while leaving an indelible mark on the history of krump.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No it hasn’t been smooth thats why we call our selves Demolition Crew because we demolish everything in our way. The plan is to break though ever industry and leave an impact.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in barbering—it’s been my passion since I was 12 years old, and now at 45, I’m proud to say I’ve been in the game for over three decades. Barbering runs deep in my family; my mom, my grandfather, and many of my relatives were also involved in the craft, making me a sixth-generation barber. I own a barbershop, but it’s more than just a place for haircuts—it’s a vibrant creative space where people can express themselves artistically. In addition to haircuts and dreadlocks, we print T-shirts, create clothing for our brand Breaking Beariers, host podcasts, dance sessions, mental health check-ins, and community events. We also rent the space for local happenings and serve as a hub for creativity and healing. Mentorship and giving back to the community are at the heart of what I do. I recently started a nonprofit, but I’ve always organized community programs and dance events for youth. I’ve also been part of the krump movement for 20 years—mentoring crews, making music, and using art to uplift others. Helping people thrive through creativity, culture, and connection is what I truly love.
