Today we’d like to introduce you to Ahmed Kai.

Hi Ahmed, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Ahmed Khalid, born on November 18, 1994, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an actor and model, my love for being in front of the camera traces back to my childhood, fueled by the energy to try new things and uplift my craft. Inspired by the Golden Times of the ’90s, encompassing music, movies, fashion, dance, and arts, I found my passion in the world of acting.

Embarking on my acting journey in 2022, within just two years, I’ve taken on roles in series, movies, TV commercials, and films. Transitioning from fashion modeling to acting, my versatility and personality led me to significant opportunities with both Saudi and international brands across various platforms like magazines, advertising, TV shows, and website marketing.

The experiences of collaborating with talented directors, writers, and filmmakers have been a blessing, instilling confidence in my potential for success as an actor. While I acknowledge my innate talent, I aspire to deepen my understanding of the craft and the industry. Applying to your esteemed acting school is driven by a profound passion to learn, experience, and evolve within an environment that nurtures the art I love. I am eager to immerse myself in the academic and practical aspects of acting, pushing the boundaries of my abilities and contributing to the world of storytelling in meaningful ways.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Following my dream has never been an easy path, especially because I’ve had to give 100% to my craft and constantly step out of my comfort zone in order to grow as an artist. For example, choosing to come to LA and learn how to develop my acting skills while adapting to a new culture was a big step for me. It brought me closer to becoming a great actor and being fully confident in any part of the entertainment industry.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’ve always used my imagination whether it was for studying, crafting art, or painting. What I love most about my work is the ability to create something that moves people, and that’s why an artist’s story is essential.

I started my career as a professional model, working on many commercial and branding projects with agencies as well as freelancing. Then I landed my first role in film production as a supporting actor, which led to me becoming one of the most recognizable artists in my country, Saudi Arabia.

Now, I’m taking everything I’ve experienced so far and combining it with the lessons I’m learning here, so I can make a real difference when I return to the Middle East industry.

What sets me apart from others is my determination to go after my goals, no matter the circumstances. I’ve been able to achieve a lot because of that mindset. I’m ambitious and curious about my own potential, and I always keep the door open for growth. That hunger and motivation are what drive me to keep chasing my dreams.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t have a specific answer to that question just yet. What I can say is that I’m still at the beginning of my journey, and I’m still learning and growing every day. Once I become a full-time actor and gain more experience in the industry, I’ll be able to reflect more and speak on that with confidence.
