Meet Roni Amrich of Good Moodra Yoga, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Roni Amrich

Hi Roni, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Roni Amrich, and I’m the owner of Good Moodra Yoga Studio, located in Anaheim, California. Owning my own business has been a dream of mine since I was 12 years old. My dad always said I’d end up being a business owner because I was great at organizing and leading, even as a kid. But it took me a while to get here. I spent over 15 years managing and training sales teams, learning how to lead, build systems, and work with people.

During those years, I started practicing yoga at home to help relieve the physical toll of sitting all day. When I finally attended classes at a yoga studio, I was hooked. I loved the environment, the energy, and the community. That’s when I decided: This is what I want to do. But I didn’t want just any studio. I wanted something unique—something that would make fitness and yoga more approachable, fun, and exciting for everyone.

That’s when I discovered Trapeze Yoga. It’s a dynamic workout that not only strengthens your body but also provides spinal traction to relieve back pain—something traditional yoga doesn’t offer. The best part? It’s fun. No other studio in Orange County offers Trapeze Yoga, so incorporating it into my studio became a no-brainer.

I officially started my journey in late 2019, signing a lease for the studio space and planning to open in March 2020. Then COVID hit. The journey was nothing short of a rollercoaster—opening, closing, moving classes outdoors, and adapting to constant changes. Through it all, I relied on the support of my team and my vision for a space that helps people feel good, inside and out.

Today, Good Moodra Yoga is thriving. We’ve built not just a studio but a community—a place where people feel welcome, supported, and encouraged to have fun while prioritizing their health. Our motto is “Change Your Perspective,” and it’s something I live by every day. Whether it’s through helping people relieve stress, address back pain, or just rediscover the joy of movement, Good Moodra Yoga is about making fitness accessible, uplifting, and, most importantly, fun.

Owning this business is the most rewarding experience of my life. It combines my passion for yoga, my love for business strategy, and my commitment to creating something meaningful for the community. Every challenge I’ve faced has been worth it to see this vision come to life.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been anything but a smooth road, but every challenge has taught me something valuable. One of the biggest hurdles came just as we were gearing up to open in March 2020—right when the pandemic shut everything down. Imagine signing a lease, building out a studio, and preparing to launch, only to have the world come to a standstill. It was devastating at first, but I knew I had to adapt if I wanted to keep the dream alive.

We pivoted to outdoor classes, reduced class sizes, and doubled down on community building. I also faced the challenge of introducing Trapeze Yoga—a fitness modality most people in the area hadn’t heard of. There was an initial learning curve in educating people about its benefits and getting them to try something new. It took persistence, creative marketing, and a lot of free demos to help people understand how fun and transformative it could be.

Another ongoing challenge is balancing the demands of running the business while staying connected to my personal passion for yoga. As a business owner, it’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day operations—sales, staffing, scheduling—but I’ve had to remind myself to step back and stay grounded in why I started this journey in the first place.

Hiring and managing a team has also been a learning experience. Finding people who align with the studio’s mission and have the right energy is crucial. I’ve made mistakes along the way, but I’ve used every misstep as an opportunity to refine my hiring process and leadership approach.

Despite these struggles, I’ve always seen challenges as opportunities to grow. If anything, the tough times have deepened my resolve to create something that truly matters—a space where people can feel good, get healthy, and find joy.

We’ve been impressed with Good Moodra Yoga, LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Good Moodra Yoga, we’re all about helping people discover the beauty, magic, and vitality within themselves—and keeping that light shining as brightly as possible. We specialize in Trapeze Yoga, a unique and dynamic fitness modality that combines yoga, strength training, and fun in a way that’s truly transformative. It’s not just a workout; it’s an experience that leaves you feeling connected, free, and ready to take on life with a renewed sense of joy.

What sets us apart is how we approach wellness. We know life can be overwhelming, stressful, and downright hard at times. That’s why we focus on creating an uplifting, playful environment where people can leave their worries at the door. Whether you come to us feeling stressed, frustrated, or just a little “off,” you’ll leave feeling empowered, energized, and in a great mood.

We’re proud to be a place where movement meets mindfulness. Our classes don’t just strengthen your body—they also reconnect you with your inner self. Trapeze Yoga, in particular, is a tool that helps you notice how your daily habits impact your energy and well-being. You start to see what gives you energy and what drains it, which makes self-care not just a priority, but an enjoyable one.

Brand-wise, we’re most proud of the community we’ve built. We’re more than a studio—we’re a family. The connections our members form with each other and the space we provide for them to grow, heal, and thrive are what make Good Moodra so special.

For anyone considering giving us a try, here’s what I’d want you to know: Good Moodra Yoga is all about YOU. We’re here to meet you where you are and help you get to where you want to be, whether that’s feeling stronger, less stressed, or just plain happy. Our offerings include Trapeze Yoga and Mat Yoga, so there’s something for everyone. And the best part? It’s fun. You’ll feel like a kid again, playing on the playground, and you won’t want to leave!

We’re located off Orangethorpe and Chapman, just south of Placentia in Anaheim, CA, and we’d love for you to join us. Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned yogi, there’s a spot for you here to feel good, move freely, and shine brighter than ever.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
The COVID-19 crisis was a defining moment for us at Good Moodra Yoga, and it taught us some invaluable lessons that have shaped who we are as a business and as a community. One of the biggest takeaways was the importance of adaptability. The pandemic forced us to pivot quickly, whether it was moving classes outdoors or reimagining how we could safely serve our members while maintaining the connection and energy they craved.

It reminded us that flexibility isn’t just a principle of yoga—it’s a principle of life and business.
We also were reminded how important it is to prioritize mental health alongside physical wellness. The challenges of the pandemic highlighted just how intertwined the two are. People were turning to movement, mindfulness, and fun to cope with stress, and when we finally opened we saw firsthand how transformative yoga and Trapeze Yoga could be in navigating tough times. It solidified our belief in the power of what we offer and encouraged us to expand our focus on helping people find emotional as well as physical balance.

Lastly, we realized the need to always keep our “why” at the forefront. When faced with uncertainty, coming back to our core mission—helping people see the beauty and vitality within themselves—helped us stay grounded and push forward. It reminded us that even when things are hard, our purpose doesn’t change.

The pandemic was a challenge, but it was also an opportunity to grow. It strengthened our resolve, deepened our gratitude for the Good Moodra community, and gave us a renewed sense of purpose. We’ve emerged stronger, more connected, and more committed than ever to helping people find joy, strength, and freedom in both their bodies and their lives.
