Today we’d like to introduce you to Debbie Kaen
Hi Debbie , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Be ing was born from both personal experience and a decade of deep research into the connection between energy, frequency, and fertility. About ten years ago, I was introduced to the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto, who explored how water responds to human intention. His research ignited something in me, and I began experimenting in my own kitchen—labeling two jars of cooked rice: one with the word “hate” and the other with “thank you.” Every time, the jar labeled “hate” would mold while the “thank you” jar stayed fresh. I realized then that my body—made up of 99.5% water by molecular count—was also listening. My thoughts, feelings, and surroundings were shaping my cellular health in real time, just like the rice.
When I became pregnant shortly after, my husband and I began writing high-frequency words over my belly. We knew that not only was my body water, but my baby’s body was too—growing in a sac of amniotic fluid. These small moments evolved into sacred rituals. I started holding impromptu writing circles outside yoga and Pilates studios— for women trying to conceive, pregnant women, and those healing from loss, ectopic pregnancies, or early childhood trauma. The practice became a sanctuary, and over time, more and more women encouraged me to turn it into something tangible.
That became the foundation for Be ing. I learned that most maternity wear on the market is made from synthetic fabrics like polyester and nylon—materials that leach toxins, disrupt hormones, and cause inflammation. I wanted to offer something better: wearable sanctuaries crafted from pure cotton, free of plastics and forever chemicals. Our garments are designed not just for physical comfort, but for energetic alignment—with I AM mantras over the womb, sacred geometry, and a pocket to hold affirmations, crystals, or love notes for the life within. Be ing is the intersection of science and the sacred. It’s not just clothing—it’s a frequency tool, a prayer, and a reminder that your body is listening.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Thank G‑d, the journey has felt very divinely guided. Most of the time, I feel more like an observer of what is being created, rather than the one doing it all. It’s as if Be ing has its own soul and I’m simply here to listen, to serve, and to bring it through with as much integrity and reverence as possible. Of course, there are moments that feel challenging—usually when I start getting too involved from the mind, trying to control or force. But those moments are really just gentle reminders to step aside and return to being a vessel for this offering. When I do that, things tend to unfold with grace and flow again. So in that way, even the struggles feel purposeful—they guide me back into alignment.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Be ing ?
Be ing is a frequency-based fertility offering in the form of leggings and belly wraps thoughtfully designed for conceiving and expecting mothers. Physically, our garments are crafted from breathable, natural organic stretch cotton that is free from plastics, synthetics, and forever chemicals—offering a safe, skin-to-skin alternative to conventional maternity wear made with polyester, nylon, and spandex, which are known to leach toxins, disrupt hormones, and impact reproductive health. Energetically, each piece is infused with intentional vibrational support: I AM mantras are placed directly over the womb, sacred geometry is woven into the design, and a dedicated pocket is sewn into every garment to hold affirmation cards (included), crystals, or personal tokens—inviting the mother to co-create her reality with clarity, vision, and resonance.
What sets Be ing apart is that we’re not simply a clothing brand—we’re a consciousness tool. Our foundation is rooted in over a decade of water research, inspired by early studies from Masaru Emoto, Veda Austin, and Viktor Schauberger and the women we witnessed heal and conceived healthy babies through our prayer circles. We understand that a mother’s body is mostly water, deeply receptive to frequency, and that her emotional, spiritual, and environmental inputs directly shape the life growing within her. Be ing responds to that truth with reverence.
We’re most proud of how Be ing helps women reconnect with their own inner power—reminding them that they are not broken, not waiting to be fixed by a system, but whole and wise and deeply capable of co-creating life. Our garments are a physical, vibrational invitation to return to that knowing.
What we want readers to know is that Be ing is not about trends or fast fashion—it’s about healing, remembrance, and resonance. Every stitch is intentional, every word is a prayer, and every garment is an offering to both mother and child. Be ing is here to honor the sacred path of creation and to help women feel held, aligned, and empowered as they walk it.
Any big plans?
We’re thrilled to be in production on our newest fabric—a clean, safe, organic, Bluesign® certified cotton stretch blend—and it truly feels like Be ing is stepping into its next evolution. This fabric is everything we’ve been dreaming of: pure, supportive, and aligned with our highest standards for health and wholeness. It’s soft, breathable, and designed to move with the mother—inside and out. We’re proud to embody what we share—no greenwashing, just full truth, integrity, and devotion. And with G‑d’s loving help, we can’t wait to unveil this new line to our conceiving and expecting mothers this June. It’s going to be beautiful.
