Thanks for sharing your story with us Leo, JJ. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Our Story is a simple one, we wanted to empower people when dealing with their auto transactions.
Being an Auto Broker gives us the opportunity to do just that, empower people. We listen to person’s automotive needs and wants, then we put together a transaction that fulfills both. We have represented our customers in all aspects of an auto transaction, both as a representative of buyers and sellers.
Unlike a traditional car salesperson, we can locate for our customers almost any make and model vehicle, we are not limited by the constraints of one brand.
Today, we are a team serving San Fernando Valley and Ventura County, our happiness comes from hearing our customers saying, “Thank You” and having the confidence to refer us to their friends and family. We have a 5-star rating on Yelp, Google, and other car review boards. We take great pride in the way we treat our customers.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Being a start-up auto brokerage firm was no easy task, we had to define ourselves and prove our worth. We spent many long hours testing out the right mix of manufacturer-dealer relationships, the right lender relationships and the right marketing mix for our consignment cars. The other big task for us was how would technology play a part in our ability to serve our customer. Our goal is that anyone can access Evans Auto Brokerage with the easy, whether their choice is text, chat, website or phone we are accessible.
Our biggest challenge has been educating car buyers and sellers that using an auto broker not only frees up their time but also puts a professional in charge of the transaction. Using an auto broker gives a customer access to an industry professional that has a team that performs marketing, understands the current value of a vehicle, has researched the current lease terms and finance rates and knows how to negotiate the transaction in a professional manner securing the customer’s needs and wants.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Evans Auto Brokerage – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
In 2014, Evans Auto Brokerage and Sales was founded with one focus in mind our customers. We are a full-service auto broker. We represent our customers in the buying, leasing, lease-returns, and selling of all automotive vehicles.
Being independent allows us to help customers secure cars from any manufacturer from Honda to Ferrari. Since we are not limited by brand or model, if the customer wants a specific car, in a specific color and trim, we will work with our network of manufacturer-dealers to find that exact car. Our customer’s satisfaction is our top priority. We like the ability to work with any dealer to fulfill our customer’s desires.
In addition, we assist our customers by selling their autos on consignment. When you consign a car to Evans, we take care of all aspects of selling a car, from marketing to negotiation. We take care of all the DMV paperwork and loan payoffs.
Many of our customers have very busy lives, so we deliver vehicles on a regular basis, we have delivered them all over from a customer’s home to a beauty salon. We do what we can to go that extra mile for our customers.
Seeing a customer smile and be happy with the outcome of a transaction makes what we do very fulfilling.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
In our eyes, the future holds opportunity we have two main goals for 2018. The first is to hire additional personnel for the auto broker position and support staff. The second is to open our own finance division.
We are always looking for people who align with our vision of empowering our customers. People who are not about selling cars but about serving our customer. If the person understands that you should serve the customer needs and wants, we can teach you to be an outstanding auto broker. After many years we have found that learning the auto industry is easy, we can train anyone on that. The bigger challenge is finding the right person with the right compassion to serve our customer. We are always accepting resumes.
The biggest goal for 2018 is opening our finance division. Our vision for finance is to help those customers who do not fit the traditional guidelines of the major manufacturers, banks or credit unions. Sometimes unfortunate things happen to good people. We want to be able to help those people re-establish themselves and get back to a position where they have auto finance options that make sense for them. Just because a person does not have great or even good credit doesn’t mean they should not have access to reasonable finance terms.
We are very excited about 2018 and being in the auto industry!
