Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Moore.
Hi Alexis, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am a proud graduate of Arizona State University, where I earned my degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. After completing my studies, I made the move to California to pursue work opportunities that allowed me to explore my passion for helping others while also embarking on a new chapter in my life.
While I initially focused on building my career in the corporate world, I slowly began to realize that my creative side had much to offer. Fitness, fashion, and modeling were areas I had always been interested in, and I found myself gradually merging these interests with my professional life. What started as a personal passion quickly blossomed into a dynamic career where I could combine my work ethic, creativity, and love for wellness and fashion. I currently work full time for the Orange County Superior Court, and balance being a yoga instructor for CorePower Yoga, Toned Power, & Class46Yoga, while also being signed as a model with The Movement Talent Agency who keeps me very busy.
Over time, I built a balance between my 9-5 corporate responsibilities and my growing presence in the fitness and fashion industries, carving out a niche that blends my professional background with my creative pursuits. Today, I continue to thrive in both worlds, finding inspiration in the balance between structure and creativity, and I am excited to see where this journey takes me next.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road hasn’t always been smooth, and like many, I’ve definitely faced my fair share of bumps. One of the biggest challenges has been dealing with imposter syndrome. There have been times when I questioned whether I truly belonged in the spaces I was entering, especially when I was turned down for opportunities or didn’t see immediate success. It’s easy to feel like you’re not good enough or that others have it all figured out, but I’ve learned that those feelings are normal and part of the process.
Another struggle has been balancing my full-time corporate job with my creative pursuits. There were moments where I had to choose between working my 9-5 or dedicating time to building my content and pursuing my passions in fitness, wellness, fashion, and modeling. It often felt like there wasn’t enough time in the day to do everything I wanted to, but I learned the importance of prioritization and managing expectations—both with myself and with others.
But despite the setbacks, each challenge has pushed me to grow, learn, and refine my approach. I’ve come to appreciate the journey, knowing that every obstacle is an opportunity to become more resilient and better equipped for future challenges.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As a Yoga Sculpt instructor, I blend the mindfulness of yoga with the intensity of strength training to create a high-energy, full-body workout. My classes focus on building strength, improving flexibility, and increasing cardiovascular endurance through a combination of yoga poses and hand weights, resistance training, and bodyweight exercises. I specialize in creating dynamic, challenging workouts that are accessible for all fitness levels, and I strive to make each class both physically challenging and mentally invigorating.
What sets me apart is my ability to combine the best of both worlds—yoga and strength training—while emphasizing the importance of breath, body awareness, and proper alignment. I believe in meeting students where they are and guiding them to push past their limits in a safe, supportive environment. My classes are known for being empowering and motivating, where students leave feeling strong, rejuvenated, and confident in their own abilities.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the community I’ve built with my students. Seeing them push through tough moments, celebrate their progress, and gain confidence in their strength—both on and off the mat—is what truly fuels my passion. I’m also proud of the unique fusion I bring to the Yoga Sculpt practice, where every class feels like a challenge, yet also an opportunity for growth and self-discovery.
Working for the Orange County Superior Court has given me the opportunity to contribute to the justice system in a meaningful way. I specialize in supporting the administrative and operational functions of the court, ensuring smooth processes for case management, legal filings, and assisting in court procedures. My role often involves working closely with legal professionals, court personnel, and the public to ensure everyone has the necessary support throughout their legal matters.
What I am most proud of is being part of a team that plays a pivotal role in ensuring fairness, transparency, and efficiency in the court system. Whether it’s managing cases, assisting in court hearings, or addressing inquiries from the public, I always aim to ensure that people feel heard and that the judicial process runs as smoothly as possible.
What sets me apart is my commitment to detail, organization, and dedication to helping others navigate the often-complex legal system. I bring a deep understanding of legal processes, as well as a patient and empathetic approach, which helps to alleviate the stress many people feel when dealing with legal matters. Knowing that my work helps people through what can sometimes be a challenging or intimidating experience is incredibly rewarding.
What does success mean to you?
Success, to me, is not just about achieving specific goals or reaching a particular destination; it’s about the journey and the personal growth along the way. I define success as living authentically, embracing the process of learning, and making meaningful progress toward goals, both big and small. It’s about finding balance, fulfillment, and resilience—being proud of who you are and the effort you put into pursuing your passions, whether or not you reach perfection. Success is deeply personal and unique to each individual, but ultimately, it’s about feeling content with your choices, having a sense of purpose, and being at peace with where you are in your life.
