Life & Work with Mattie Tiggleman of Beverly Hills

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mattie Tiggleman

Mattie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I studied fashion design at Louisiana State University, then moved to Los Angeles where I began assisting stylists. Over the next few years, I worked with a range of stylists and publications, gaining experience across different parts of the industry. I later transitioned into working independently with my own clients. From there, I began collaborating with fashion brands on content, partnerships, and attending brand events and fashion shows.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s definitely had its Devil Wears Prada moments. The industry is highly competitive and cutthroat. I’ve had sleepless nights, worked under intense pressure, and dealt with tight deadlines on high-stakes projects. It’s taken a lot of blood, sweat, and tears—but it’s also incredibly rewarding to see the work come to life and to know I’m living my childhood dream.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m most proud of my independent work being featured in Vogue’s Best Street Style from Paris Fashion Week. One of the looks I styled was also the subject of an article in Vogue Greece.

What were you like growing up?
Fashion has been a consistent interest since childhood. From an early age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in the industry. I’ve always used clothing as a way to express myself.
