Hi Francesca, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Frenchie, born and raised in Oceanside, CA, and I’m the owner of Excusemybeauté, a brand that merges beauty, self-care, and confidence.

My journey into the beauty industry started with a simple passion: helping people feel their best. I’ve always loved getting my lashes done, the way they enhanced my confidence and made me feel put together. That feeling inspired me to take a lash course, thinking it would just be a side skill to help others experience the same. But once I started, I fell in love with the artistry behind it.

What I initially saw as a small venture quickly turned into something much bigger. I found myself wanting to invest in additional training, refine my skills, and expand my knowledge. That drive led me to create excusemybeauté—a brand that’s more than just beauty; it’s about empowerment and self-expression.

My business is my baby. I never imagined I’d own something that was truly mine, but now I can’t picture my life any other way. Building this brand from the ground up has been one of the most rewarding experiences, and this is only the beginning. My goal is not only to provide high-quality beauty services but also to educate and uplift others in the industry, proving that anything is possible when you believe in yourself.

I came up with the name Excusemybeauté because beauté means beauty in French, and since I go by Frenchie, it just made sense. But it’s more than just a catchy name.
Excusemybeauté means I know I look good, and what? I’m not sorry for it. But beyond that, it holds a deeper meaning. True beauty starts from within, and if someone can’t see the beauty in you, that’s their problem. Keep shining. Never let anyone dim your light. So excusemybeauté,

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey has never been easy ,no one ever tells you just how hard it is. You only see the success in people’s businesses, but never the struggles that happen behind closed doors. The late nights, the setbacks, the moments of doubt. Not knowing what step to take next or if things will turn out the way you envisioned. It’s like walking blind, learning as you go.

There have been plenty of ups and downs, and the biggest challenge is continuing to believe in yourself when things get uncertain. But that’s the beauty of it. Watching all your hard work come to life, knowing that every obstacle was just part of the process.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in lash extensions, lash lifts, waxing, and brow lamination.

What sets me apart is the genuine connections I build with my clients. To me, they’re more than just appointments—they’re people I truly care about. I go out of my way to make them feel safe, heard, and valued, whether it’s through meaningful conversations, thoughtful gifts for birthdays and holidays, or simply creating a space where they can relax and feel at ease. It’s not just about beauty, it’s about making every client feel seen and appreciated.

I’m most proud of where I am today. I started with lashing, and now I’ve grown to a place where I can offer so much more. My vision goes far beyond just providing services. I want to create an experience, a brand, and a community that empowers and inspires. This is only the beginning.

Any big plans?
I’m working to expand my business beyond just services. I’m building a beauty and lifestyle brand that encompasses skincare, cosmetics, and apparel. My goal is to create something that goes beyond beauty treatments, offering products that enhance confidence, self-care, and everyday style.
