Today we’d like to introduce you to Mahlleh .

Hi Mahlleh, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started off proffessionally playing on the street as a busker and eventually going on Tours when I became of age(or old enough) to perform in bars. So roughly between 2005-2011

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My road has been filled with ups and down just as anyone else. Being raised without parents that struggled with substance abuse and having neurodivergency myself has definitely added its own struggles that I know not as many poeple can relate to. It made it hard for me develop certain social skills and put a lot of pressure on me. Making the talents I have work for me. I never felt like music was something I could just do for fun. It had to be lucrative in order for me to survive mentally and financially. It really put a fire under me to be good.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am Mahlleh (pronounced ma-lay) a Multi-musician and songwriter. I specialize in alternative /Hip-Hop and R&B music dabbling in rock/country/folk music. I’m most proud of how consistent I’ve been with releasing music & content. Since March 2023, I have been dropping albums/eps/singles/videos every single month. I believe my work ethic and my ability to have so much variety in my catalog is what sets me apart. Also, my upbringing and development has given me a perspective that also tends to set me apart from others.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory was running around the projects in the Eastside barefoot playing kick the can all day & thru the night until the sun came up. Looking for coins in the couch cushions so I could buy chips and soda from the neighborhood candy ladys house. Running away from my grandma when she would yell at me and threaten to spank me if I didnt come inside when she realized I hadnt been in side in almost 2 days .
