Meet Stephen Beseda of OC Rain Basketball in Irvine and Orange County

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephen Beseda.

Stephen, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I was a former player from WA and moved to Orange County CA. Saw that the level of basketball development was not good so I started to get involved with lessons and teams. Grown into a business now for youth basketball players. Been national ranked and have had a ton of success getting kids into high school basketball and college.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No. I have been black balled from basketball gyms at high schools and colleges due to the old guys that had programs not being happy that someone was doing it better than they were and actually cared. Had business partner steal and try to destroy the organization.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about OC Rain Basketball – what should we know?
I am the head coach for the Jr high and high school programs as well as being the owner and director of everything. Proud of the success rate we have of getting kids into high school basketball and college basketball.

Pricing:

  • Skills classes 2 times a week for 1 hr is $115 a month
  • Basketball teams based on what you want to do is between $200-$275 a month
