Hi Iryna, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I launched my career as a TV host on a major Mexican broadcast channel before creating a YouTube channel chronicling my experiences as a Ukrainian in Mexico, with a focus on lifestyle and travel. My channel now boasts over 700,000 subscribers, and I have more than 1.2 million followers across all my platforms. Over the past six years, I’ve appeared in numerous TV and commercial projects, showcasing my versatility as both an actress and a TV host. As an influencer, I’ve collaborated with notable brands such as Toyota, Hyundai, Maria Oliver, and Glamira Diamonds, among others in the lifestyle and luxury sectors. Now based in Los Angeles, I’m pursuing my career as a multilingual actress, bringing a unique cross-cultural perspective to every role.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It certainly hasn’t been a smooth road. When you move across continents, language and cultural differences can become major hurdles. Although I’m fluent in Spanish, Ukrainian, English, and Russian—and I speak a little Polish, Belarusian, and German—there’s still a learning curve in adapting to new dialects, accents, and social nuances. Beyond that, understanding the unwritten cultural rules of a new place can be as challenging as mastering another language. Each region has its own expectations of etiquette and communication styles, and immersing yourself in them while trying to keep your own identity intact can feel like walking a tightrope.

However, these challenges have also been opportunities for growth. Every time I move to a different country or step onto a new set, I gain a deeper understanding of how to bridge those gaps. Learning to navigate these barriers has made me more empathetic and versatile, both personally and professionally.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a multilingual actress, TV host, and content creator specializing in bringing authentic cultural perspectives to my work. I’ve performed in theater plays in Spanish, shot commercials in English, and I’m currently writing a short film that will unite the Slavic world with Western culture. Drawing from my experiences in both Mexico and Eastern Europe, I aim to use my knowledge of languages to infuse genuine depth into roles that reflect these distinct yet interconnected parts of the world.

What I’m most proud of is my ability to break down cultural barriers on stage and on screen. Whether I’m portraying a character in a Spanish-language production or weaving Slavic folklore into a Western setting, I strive to give each project a truthful representation of its heritage. What sets me apart is my lived understanding of these cultures: I’ve immersed myself in them firsthand, which allows me to bring an authenticity that resonates with audiences around the globe.

How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happiest is spending time with my family, traveling to discover new places, savoring great cuisine, and immersing myself in the creative energy on set. Each of these brings a unique joy: family gives me love and support, travel broadens my horizons, indulging in diverse gastronomy excites my senses, and working on set allows me to bring stories to life—combining passion, adventure, and connection all at once.
