Hi Earl, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Living in Los Angeles, I saw a growing need in my community: seniors struggling to get to their medical appointments. One day, a neighbor shared how she missed a critical appointment because her ride canceled last minute. That moment sparked an idea—and a mission.

I started researching Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) and realized I could fill this gap. After navigating the licensing process, investing in accessible vehicle, and taking the required and necessary certifications, I launched my service.

At first, it was just a few local clients, but word quickly spread. Partnering with clinics and senior centers, I became a trusted name for safe, reliable rides. Hearing clients say our service gave them peace of mind and independence showed me the impact we were making.

Today, my NEMT business is more than transportation—it’s a lifeline for seniors and people with mobility issues in our community.

Running an NEMT business isn’t without challenges. Navigating strict regulations, maintaining accessible vehicles, and finding reliable, compassionate drivers can be tough. Scheduling rides efficiently, managing no-shows, and competing with larger companies or ride-share services adds to the complexity. Delays in payments from insurers can strain cash flow, while liability risks and unexpected events require constant vigilance. Despite these hurdles, a focus on reliability, quality service, and strong community relationships makes overcoming them worthwhile.
