Today we’d like to introduce you to Jess Rosenbluth
Hi Jess, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey began at Nike, where I interned at their World Headquarters, gaining invaluable experience in storytelling and networking as well as understanding the importance of company culture, and the global supply chain. I then joined The Robot Company, now part of SpringHill Entertainment, where I honed skills in influencer marketing and community-driven brand building. I am now the founder of el3ment, an entertainment tech company that empowers independent creators through a global, invite-only network, offering services like distribution, publishing, and rights management.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Entrepreneurship is full of challenges, but I see them as opportunities to learn and grow, much like Ina Garten describes in her recent memoir “barriers are just a call to action”. It takes resilience to handle the ups and downs, but staying curious and eager to learn has always helped me push through.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about el3ment?
el3ment is an entertainment tech company empowering global collaboration through an exclusive, invite-only network of independent creators. Our services include distribution, publishing, and comprehensive rights claiming, ensuring creators maintain control and maximize the value of their work.
What sets us apart is our cutting-edge technology and focus on connection. Our mobile app, like a LinkedIn for music creators, uses AI-driven searches to match collaborators globally, offering tools like in-app translation for seamless multilingual connections and advanced AI features like genre classification, music matchmaking, and sound manipulation to diversify tracks.
With members across 72 countries and a belief that music is a universal connector, we’re proud to help creators expand their reach. Collaboration scales music authentically to more fans, and we are dedicated to empowering creators to thrive on a global stage.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I consider myself a risk-taker, guided by the belief that ‘if you don’t ask, they can’t say yes’ and “you don’t know your good breaks from your bad” until you try. I believe that every decision—good or bad—teaches valuable lessons. My career has been built on taking calculated risks and trusting my ability to create positive outcomes or, at the very least, learn and grow.
A defining moment was when we launched our app in Colombia and Mexico, identifying an unmet need in these markets. We flew our team to Colombia, a country none of us had visited before, and successfully hosted a launch event. Our CTO summed it up perfectly: ‘Bravery defines el3ment—from internationalizing the product from the start, to meeting local artists. This is a non-traditional company with human values above all.’
This experience reflects how we approach risk: we do the research, act with intention, and embrace the challenges and rewards that come with stepping outside our comfort zone. It’s about taking bold steps to create meaningful opportunities while staying rooted in our mission to empower creators.
