Today we’d like to introduce you to Renita Asatourian
Hi Renita, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
So my career journey began in lending where I worked as a loan processor for 18 years. I also have worked as a loan signing agent/Notary for approximately 22 years now. I initially obtained my real estate license back in 2003, but I was never active and let the license expire many years later. However, in 2023 I received my license once again and this time I was determined to be active and I am focused to succeed in this field. I am really passionate about helping others achieve their dream of owning their first home or step into something bigger and better.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Naturally, taking on new career journey has its unique challenges. So it’s been a learning curve, that’s for sure. In my early years, I leaned more towards being an introvert, which I have overcome some of the shyness and lack of confidence when it comes to engaging with other people. With real estate, it has forced me to really take my skills to the next level when it comes to interacting with people and feeling comfortable with talking to strangers while introducing the services I provide as a Realtor. What I’ve learned from being a Real Estate agent is getting rejected many times when prospecting clients. I have learned to be ok to be told no many times. That is just part of the process of finding a client who’s willing to work with me for their next real estate transaction. Being a real estate agent entails wearing different hats. It requires an agent to have great communication skills, market knowledge, negotiation skills, lead generation and various other skills to succeed. It requires so much self determination to be successful in this field as there can be setbacks when an escrow does not go through due to various unexpected issues.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Realtor and I absolutely love being a part of people’s home journey because it’s such a significant and personal milestone in their lives. Whether it’s finding their first home, upgrading to their dream house, or downsizing to a place that better suits their needs, I enjoy being there every step of the way. My goal is to make the experience as smooth and positive as possible, ensuring they feel supported and confident in every decision. I am known for being very reliable, positive, motivated, and hard working. I enjoy not only helping people in achieving their real estate goals, but also establishing good friendships. I am most proud of my family that my husband and I have created. The thing that sets me apart from others is, that I highly value authenticity and I treat everyone the same way-whether you’re my friend, potential client, etc. I treat everyone with respect, along with a positive attitude. I am reliable and dependable,
and I highly stride on accuracy when it comes to the work that I do.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something that most people who know me that might not know about me is that I have played the piano since I was 3 years old. I received classical training in piano for many years. Playing the piano is one of my favorite hobbies.
