Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenni Lethridge Kaufman.
Kenni, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’ve been fortunate to have partnered with companies in the VR/AR, digital media, sports, entertainment, and tech industries for the past 15 years. My extensive experience building and leading top-notch teams, creating company systems and processes, and cultivating company culture has allowed me to collaborate with some of the most innovative and forward-thinking minds to date.
Some of my clients and key partnerships include:
NFL, Canvas Worldwide, Horizon Media, Dentsu, Magnopus, Apple, Facebook, Magic Leap, Annapurna, NASA, Sony Music, Disney, Alcon, Fox Broadcast, Fox Sports, National Geographic, BMW, Kia, Hyundai, Mattel, Deutsch Advertising, Team One, Huge, WWE, Live Nation, Fandango, and Ticketmaster.
From writer and director to actor and producer, many hats have touched my head as an overall artist throughout my career. My mission is to create “out of the box” content that boldly represents women around the world. I’ve produced several stage productions in the New York, Los Angeles, and internationally including Innocent Flesh, a critically acclaimed social drama that exposes the stark realities of the sexual exploitation & trafficking of young children all across America.
My creative and public speaking journey began in high school when I joined the speech and debate team. For eight years, I dedicated myself to public speaking competing with students from elite high schools and ivy league universities. I’ve most recently transformed my years of industry experience in Film, Television, Theatre, Games, Digital Media, and VR into an interactive guide for people who want to learn how to commodify their individual narrative.
Has it been a smooth road?
Oh, no. But, to be honest, I think both rough and smooth roads are a part of the process when you want to push yourself into success. Those rough roads give you character and allow you to learn, and the smooth roads confirm that there’s always light at the end of the tunnel.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I’ve recently created a, “Undeniably Different” performance lecture series that mixes, drama, music, and my personal journey as an executive. The performance lecture delivers the perfect vehicle for understanding how to apply my guide to anyone’s life and is dedicated to those trying to find and understand the value of their narrative. I want everyone to walk away with a better understanding of how people and organizations can leverage unique life experiences as valuable currency in the professional world.
* Find the value of your narrative
* Learn how to stay in alignment with your gifts
* Understand how to use transferable skillsets to change careers
* Accept and understood your points for growth
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I think our city is the perfect place for someone like me because LA is overwhelmed with talented people looking for someone to help guide them in a positive direction. We all have the same story and the need to understand, embrace and own the stories that make us unique – the stories that make us undeniably different.
