Meet Ariane Resnick, CNC of ArianeCooks.com

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariane Resnick, CNC.

Ariane, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
After recovering from multiple chronic illnesses in my 30s, I realized my purpose is to help others feel better; food and writing are my natural vehicles for that. I’ve been in and out kitchens my entire adult life, grew up in a holistic family, and got a degree in creative writing.

It took five years of being sick for me to understand that by combining all of those things, I could forge a unique career path. When I got well again and understood that, work began falling into my lap.

It’s been close to six years now and every amazing opportunity in that time has come to me, from celebrity clientele to book offers to speaking opportunities. When you find your purpose, the universe conspires to help you live it.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There are periods of coasting, but when you’re committed to self-growth you can’t plan on smoothness! I’ve struggled with money management, periods of too much work followed by periods of not enough, and imposter syndrome.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about ArianeCooks.com – what should we know?
I’m a private special diet chef, certified nutritionist, and bestselling author. I work project to project: those projects include writing books, cooking for others, doing nutrition consults and nutrition plans for individuals, writing articles, developing recipes for brands, and doing endorsement work/brand partnerships.

I’m most proud of my upcoming fourth book, “How to Be Well When You’re Not,” which will be out in September. P!nk, whom I’m currently the chef and nutritionist for, wrote the foreword for it. I consider it my life’s work.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
There are countless people who have helped me along the way! Family, friends, spiritual workers, business contacts. It’s important to know your strengths and to allow others to help in areas that don’t come naturally to you.
