Meet Adam Lyons of POP THE PIXEL in Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Lyons.

Founded by Adam in 2011, POP THE PIXEL is a company that assists clients with branding small businesses, creating websites, as well as providing other graphic design, web design and development, and creative consulting services.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
POP THE PIXEL started organically after a number of freelance projects transitioned into steady workflow.

Much like any other experience in life, there are bumps in the road along the way, but that is to be expected. Overall, it has been a smooth journey.

If you are considering starting your own business, I offer this advice:

1) Know your brand.
2) Stick to your values.
3) Work on projects that you’re passionate about.
4) Practice a work/life balance.
5) Don’t ever stop networking.

Stay focused, learn along the way, and be open to change. At times, a train may drive itself, but without a conductor it’s destined to derail.

POP THE PIXEL – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
POP THE PIXEL’s services include creative direction and graphic design for print media, branding, and full advertising campaigns. We also offer web design and programming. Our clients are individuals, emerging brands, and established businesses, located both locally and nationally.

POP THE PIXEL is a tight-knit group of thinkers, designers, programmers, influencers, and tastemakers. We’re creative, fast, efficient, and responsive.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
My proudest moment to date, as a business owner, was when I saw the POP THE PIXEL logo projected on the side of a building during a client event.
