Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Williams.

Hi Alexis, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was reminiscing with my friend about our college days, our mistakes, happy times, and what I wish I could have done better, etc. Then the idea of writing an informative book about how to get through college hit me. I then started writing and published my first book two years later! I’ve always loved writing so this was perfect for me to accomplish.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely was a struggle. There were days where I was forcing myself to write and when I got to that point, I stopped writing and tried again another day because it was not coming from a genuine place of thought. I also struggled with being scared and overthinking that I was in over my head with writing a book. However, through it all I managed to keep going!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Readers should know that I put my all into my work. My book comes from a place of understanding because I was in they’re same position. Everyone’s college experience is different therefore I may not have all of the answers. However, I believe that my book will help guide you through college. I also have various activities throughout my book for my readers to complete that is intended to motivate my readers to follow they’re dreams and pursue finding their purpose, drive, and vision. As of now I am focused on marketing my book by reaching out to high schools and colleges.

How do you think about happiness?
I think that happiness is beautiful and comes from within. I believe that no one can make you happy however they can enhance your happiness. With that being said. Happiness is extremely important to have.
