Inspiring Conversations with Celia Reyes of California Well Done Cleaning Services

Today we’d like to introduce you to Celia Reyes.

Hi Celia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised in El Salvador. In 2006, I migrated to the USA and I was amazed by this beautiful country full of opportunities to grow. I arrived in the state of NY and lived there for about 12 years before departing to California. In California, I was ready to continue finding a purpose in life by following my dreams. In the golden state, I built my cleaning company back in 2018 and worked a few years by myself in the cleaning industry. I was getting fully booked that I could not serve the demand, this opened a door for me, so I decided to create job opportunities for people like me full of dreams and goals.

Now today, we have one of the most recognizable cleaning companies in the San Gabriel Valley area, East LA and Los Angeles. My vision is to provide quality and a great experience. Customers are paying for a service so why not make it extraordinary and with the best customer service. Every day we dedicate our time to screen our applicants and hire based on a strong work ethic. Who would of thought that a vacuum cleaner and cleaning products would have a special place in my heart.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course, there has been challenging moments. As an entrepreneur, I held a vision close to my heart and I never stopped until I got results. During this time I needed to remind myself that It is one step at a time to move to the next level. A few of the challenges I have faced was creating systems and finding the resources to help me be at the level I am now. One of the biggest challenges was getting my business thru Covid-19. We were a small team with three technicians at the time. I had to see a way how I could help my community during Covid-19 and at the same time keep my business operating. Cleaning is part of our life and It helps us be in harmony with our spaces. Covid-19 was challenging for many of us so we kept our doors open for most of the time to offer cleanings to our clientele and new customers in need of this service in demand, always following the recommended guidelines and protocols.

We’ve been impressed with California Well Done Cleaning Services, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We specialize in recurrent cleaning services Weekly, Bi-weekly and Monthly Maintenance. We offer these services for residential and offices.

We also provide one-time visits, Move Out and Move In Cleaning, Construction Cleaning, Window Cleaning and Office Cleaning.

We are known for providing an excellent customer service and a job well done. We believe our employees reflect the hard work that we as an office put on to deliver quality and a great customer experience. Every employee that works for us is a cleaning lover and this makes every service special with our clients. Every employee and customer that is attracted to our business, we can reassure them that they are seen as family.

We want to project professionalism in this industry. Cleaning has been stigmatized as a service that is not appreciated it and it is not seen as a good job to have. We work hard every day to provide a professional career with cleaning and we pride ourselves by looking for ways to pay good wages to our employees.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Over the years, I have seen success in different ways. As a teenager success for me was graduating from high school, in my 20s success was being independent and living life in my own terms. Reaching my mid-20s, success was having sustainable financial goals and after that, this is where I am. Success is progressing at something at a specific time executing a plan. Success doesn’t come to you by wishing success. You have to work every day, no matter the amount of time you dedicate to that specific goal, situation or way of life. Success can be seen in different scenarios. A mother can be successful for having her children, parents can feel success seeing their daughter thriving in a foreign country or losing weight. Success is shown to us in many ways, we just have to be perceptive and embrace the opportunity that we have to take in order to change and make things better.
