Today we’d like to introduce you to Shamananda.
Hi Shamananda, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m Shamananda a Spiritual Life Coach based in Orange County, California. I’m also a master shaman, mentor, and counselor specializing in transformational enlightenment through spiritual leadership, energy healing, holistic therapy, and other lifestyle guidance.
When I was a child, I was always the one who would go and support the other kids who were crying. It was always in me to want to relieve people from their pain. And, just like all healers, I got to go through my own trial by fire in life, the kind where the trauma doesn’t seem to let up and it’s either do everything you can to heal from it all or fall into the pit. I chose to heal.
Eventually, if you go through enough practical education through life experience, you end up with a lot of knowledge, especially when you’re fighting through massive amounts of trauma successfully. That knowledge was something people seemed to find highly valuable because the methods were put to the test and worked in the field of my life, so to speak. In other words, I had proven that the methods worked because I had already solved the problem successfully in my own existence.
I had a knack for it because of my life experience and because I truly cared about people. I naturally supported others through difficult moments. I became their go to person for a wide array of issues, anywhere from domestic problems to physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual ailments. If you had a problem, I had a solution every time.
Eventually, I opened up an office because there was a demand. I wanted to have a place where people could come and see me. It just made it easier. And then, people kept coming. I tried advertising a bit, but I soon stopped because all of my clients were coming from word of mouth, and it kept me very busy. I started working 16-hour days every day. I never scheduled breaks for myself. My daily routine was simple. I’d fall asleep, wake up, clean up, and do it all over again.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Most of my struggles came from me agreeing to heal people’s consciousness for a living. I always felt as though it was a huge responsibility that seemed too big for me and what I wanted to deal with in my life. For a long time, I couldn’t handle my own life, never mind someone else’s. But, just like anyone who avoids what they are meant to be doing, it was far harder holding it back then surrendering to it and doing it regardless of my avoidance and fear at the time.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I heal people’s minds, bodies, and spirits for a living. I’m known as the therapist’s therapist, but I possess no degree in psychiatry, and I did not go to a formal school for what I do. I did train with a living Spiritual Master, which in itself is an incredible thing to wrap your mind around. The training involved bending the mind into ways I never thought possible, facing all of my darkness and pain and turning them into blessings and gratitude, reinventing who I thought I was and becoming the embodiment of unconditional love. He liberated me as I now liberate others, which is the perfect circle of life.
Celebrities and professional athletes know me as someone who can take them to the next level of their craft. Politicians come to me to better understand their inner workings and to discover peace. Housewives come to me for relief from chronic physical pain stemming from childhood trauma or to support with discovering what true happiness is. People with eating disorders come to me when coping mechanisms don’t work. People with autoimmune diseases come to me to release their illness. Professional business owners want to understand what’s standing in their way.
Bottom line, I see small children and the elderly and everyone in between. Everyone has a different reason for seeing me. Some have spiritual issues, while others are emotionally out of touch or aren’t connected or aware of their bodies. I’m the glue that brings people together, and I’m like a chameleon in what I can do for people. Basically, I become whatever the other person needs in the moment, and I know how to deliver results that work.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Look for a mentor that has personally accomplished what you are striving to become. They get to walk the walk, not just talk the talk. If they aren’t living in that persona all of the time, keep looking.
With networking, my best advice is to be authentic. If you are a good person with a beautiful heart, that’s like gold in today’s world. It will never steer you wrong. Lead with your heart and love the world. The people really need that right now. This works in any industry. That has always served me well.
